(Sweet pea's secret spot)

Angie's p.o.v

It's weird. It's been about a week since me and Sweets had made it official, and it was definitely taking some getting used to. I have to stop myself from jerking away when he tries to hold my hand or kiss me in public. It's been a long time since I'd been in a real relationship, so it would definitely take some getting used to.

Sweet pea has been amazing through everything though, and has asked me if I would move in with him. I practically live there anyway, but the thought of such permanence... it scares me to be honest. Not to mention, his tent is not the most conventional place to live. I can't count how many times we've been caught in some awkward positions because people thought they were walking into their tent.

I wish Toni was here. Her and Cheryl still had a couple more weeks before they came back, but I missed her like crazy. I feel like she'd know what to do. I could go to Sara, but she doesn't know Sweet pea very well so she wouldn't know what advise to give. I mentally groaned not wanting to alert anyone around me.

I was currently sat in the tent city meeting place with Sweet pea, Fangs, and some other Serpents while awaiting Jughead. He supposedly had some news, and Sweets wanted me to be there to here it. In case you're wondering, no I haven't told him about my undercover operation. I wasn't sure how he'd react, and I didn't want it to be a big deal. I wasn't using it against them or anything, in fact I was hoping all of my good reports would push Michaela into helping them.

"The Ghoulies are a menace. We need to do something." The voice of their king made all the Serpents look his way as he sat in his throne. He was pretty quiet, I hadn't heard him coming.

"What're you wanting to do boss?" Sweet pea asked. I have a feeling he was hoping Jughead would say bash some heads. I could tell he'd been getting antsy lately, and I couldn't convince him to train with me. I'm not sure if he was scared he'd hurt me, or that I'd hurt him.

"I think we need to watch them, see what they're up to. The closer eye we keep on them, the more ready we are to intercede when necessary." His words made sense, but if they were caught... the Ghoulies are a much bigger gang than the Serpents, it wouldn't end well to say the least.

"What're you thinking babygirl? You're making your thinking face." Sweet pea leaned over and whispered in my ear. Should I tell him? Or would he just think I didn't have faith in him and his family?

"I think if you're caught you'll be in big trouble that you can't afford to be in." Sweet pea nodded.

"Angie makes a point, we've already taken a massive blow from the Ghoulies, I don't think we can take another one and it not be detrimental." I looked at Sweet pea shocked he would say it out loud like that. I'd never seen him be the careful and cautious type before. I think Jughead was surprised as well.

"Um, yeah, Sweet pea that's true. Thanks for the input."

"Anything to protect my family." I was proud of him, that was a step I never in a million years would've guessed he'd take, but was glad he did. It showed maturity. Jughead spoke a little more about what they could do before saying they wouldn't take action now to ensure safety. He dismissed everybody and began to walk away, but not before I caught up with him.

"Jughead, hey." He turned to look at me. "How's Betty doing with the case? I haven't talked with her or Archie in a while."

"It's going, they haven't really made any progress, so Betty's frustrated. She's worried for him, just like we all are, but I think since we were there she feels like she has to do something." I nodded in understanding, that had to be so hard. I hated that Archie was going through this, and I wasn't near as close to him as Betty. "Have you heard anything about what Michaela wants to do? It's getting pretty close to the end of summer, so I didn't know if she'd made a decision or not."
