Night #13

It is 11:09am.

The screen cuts to the footage of the kitchen camera.

Mom is seen making breakfast for everybody. Nicole enters the kitchen and asks mom what happened last night.

"Did you remember what happened last night? Why do I remember us screaming in panic or something.." Nicole said in visible confusion.

"No, nobody was screaming last night. It was just a normal night, what do mean we were all screaming?" Mom replied.

"You know what, maybe I was going insane sorry to bother you mom..." Nicole says as she leaves the kitchen.

"Be sure to have breakfast, Nicole!" Mom exclaims.

The screen cuts.

It is 14:19pm.
The screen fades into Sam's handheld camera footage.

"So apparently, Katie took her own sister's son whose named Hunter... Wait Damien, this article says that Katie killed a family in Nevada?? I'm gonna click on it." Sam said.

"Alrighty, then." Damien replied.

Sam reads out,

"On November of 2011, a series of unexplained events happened in a home. The home was located in Henderson, Nevada. The family of 4, a person named Ben from another house and the family's 2 neighbours went missing. It is soon found out that the family of 4 adopted Hunter Rey. Hunter Rey went missing in Carlsbad, California. The neighbours were suspected to have kidnapped Hunter who was named Wyatt by the family who adopted him."

"This shit is so confusing.." Damien said.

A knock is heard on the door.

Sam turns around with his camera and opens the door.

"Hi, Nikki. You're here for the sleepover thing right?" Sam asked Nikki.

"Yeah. Also your sister told me to get you both some water because the weather is really hot and she doesn't want you both to die from dehydration." Nikki replied.

"Well... that was dark..." Damien said.

"Thanks, Nikki. Tell my sister I said "Thanks" too." Sam told Nikki.

"I'm not gonna leave.." Nikki said.

"Why?" Sam asked.

"I have not been listening to what you said this whole time because I was looking at your monitor. You two are up to some weird shit man... I'm telling your sister and Sharmine, maybe we could help since we finished our projects and homework already." Nikki said.

Sam passes his handheld camera to Damien.

"Fine, but under one condition." Sam says as Damien zooms into Nikki's face.

"Stop recording me-" Nikki says before heading towards the camera to block it.

The camera cuts.
The camera fades into the footage of Sam's handheld camera with Nicole holding it.

Nicole records Nikki, Sharmine, Damien and Sam researching on the computer.

"They're so addicted to this ghost demonic ritual bullshit, it's actually driving me insane." Nicole whispers into he camera.

It is 16:23pm.

"So I was asked to take care of Angel because for some reason she has slept for almost for the entire day already. The others have all gone out to buy groceries and dad is still working." Nicole says to herself and the camera.
