Night #14

It is 09:34am.

The screen fades into the footage of the living room.

Mom is seen washing some plates in the kitchen as Nicole is seen walking downstairs.

"Goodbye, Honey! Hope I get that promotion.." is heard in the background from being said by Dad.

"Dad's getting a promotion?" Nicole asks.

"Yeah. He's been working really hard..." Mom said.

"Mom.. I have something to say.." Nicole says to her mom as the garage door can be heard closing in the background as Dad leaves.

"Something weird has been going on recently in our house... Since we moved in Angel has been acting so weird, after Hunter, the situation just kept amplifying... Didn't you see the knife stabbed right into the table and the chandelier that almost killed me when it fell..." Nicole said.

"Sweetheart, maybe it's just the new home.. The chandelier falling could be because of a faulty installation... The knives may just be a sick prank by your siblings. Remember when they always used to prank you?" She asked.

"Yeah, I do... but this time is just different... I don't think they neither can cut the power to the entire house nor have the guts to take knives out of the cabinet to stab it into the table.. What about Hunter? Who put him outside?" Nicole said.

"Honey, I've grown up without believing in the spiritual or supernatural world. There is always an explanation for everything maybe someone didn't lock the front door... Hunter does know how to open doors." Mom replied

"Mom! There is no way Hunter or any normal baby would that!" Nicole says as she is agitated.

The screen cuts to the footage of the camera near the stairs.

Nicole is seen quickly running up the stairs in disbelief of her mom.

The screen cuts to the footage of Sam's handheld camera.

"Hunter went missing back in 2006 and he should be 10 years old by now but he is not. These coven of witches have these symbols that can manipulate and take you back in any time but it can only take you back in an unholy place. The murder of Hunter's mom had clearly happened in an unholy place, which means they could alter Hunter's age by going to different dimensions which makes eternal life possible..." Sam said to Damien and Nikki.

"But this article says that back in 2013, which was last year, a family had already moved into this home. They had a kid named Leila with the same Birthday as Hunter. Weird activity started to happen in the home and on one night the whole family was found dead besides the mom and Leila who went missing." Sharmine interrupts.

"Wait what.. Leila and Hunter? Is that the girl that was next to Hunter in this image? So if that is Leila and Hunter, why are they are next to so many old women next to a fire?" Sam asks.

"Those are the midwives from the coven of witches. I think they are trying to summon Satan." Nikki adds.

The camera cuts to the footage of the living room.

It is 15:32pm.

"Honey, they are no such things as demons and witches.. what has gotten into you..?" Mom said to Sam.

"But.." Sam said.

"It's okay.. Just go to your room, I'll inform dad about it to tell Father Tom but for now don't be too agitated over this.. If there is something in the house I'm sure Father Tom would get rid of it.." Mom said.

"Alright, Mom.. I'll do my project by myself tomorrow." Sam said.

"Remember, try to finish it as quickly as possible, I have to go visit Hunter's mom at the hospital tonight so you have to help me cook dinner." Mom replied.

The camera cuts.

Night #14
June 3, 2016

It is 00:02am.

The screen fades into the footage of the camera near the stairs.

The front door is seen opening.

"Oh my god, the traffic jam was so bad!" Nicole said.

"I know right? Like, we were supposed to come home at 10 but we ended up being late for 2 hours.. If this was a school day we would have got detention.." Sharmine said.

Nikki goes to kitchen to pour some water for the three of them to drink.

"Hey, Nikki. Sharmine and I are gonna go to sleep now because we are really tired from sitting that long in the Uber." Nicole said.

"Alrighty then. I'm gonna go to sleep at a later time, I'm just gonna read the new book that I bought down here in your living room." Nikki replied.

"Okay, then. Goodnight, Nikki." Sharmine said.

The screen cuts to the footage of the living room where Sharmine and Nicole are seen walking upstairs.

Nikki is seen sitting on the couch while reading her book.

The screen fast fowards.

It is 01:37am.

Nikki is seen going upstairs to sleep.

The screen cuts to the footage of Sam's handheld camera.

"I just woke up to get a cup of water to drink but when I opened the door. I saw Angel just standing infront of Hunter's doorway..." Sam whispers into his camera as Damien's snores are heard next to him.

Sam puts his camera through his door creak and sees Angel standing in the doorway of Hunter's room.

"Angel?" Sam says.

The sound of a door opening is heard downstairs.

Sam goes out of his room and looks around only to find that Angel is no longer standing in Hunter's room's doorway. He goes downstairs and sees that the storeroom door had opened by itself. He enters the room and finds Angel holding Hunter in her arms as she sets a fire and mumbles words that are inaudible. Sam quickly drops the camera on to the floor.

"ANGEL! STOP! ARE YOU INSANE?!?" Sam says.

Suddenly, an invisible force slams the storeroom door shut behind him, locking him inside the room with Angel, Hunter and the fire.

His camera that is on the floor captures him trying to budge through the door but it doesn't work.

The camera cuts to the living room camera where screams are heard from the behind of the storeroom door.

The camera cuts back to Sam's handheld camera as the fire gets bigger. He quickly snatches Hunter away from the flames, saving him from a painful death.

The camera cuts to living room camera.

More screams and chaos ensues from the storeroom as Hunter starts crying extremely loudly.

The camera cuts to the footages of the other cameras in the home.

No one is seen waking up even though loud screams can be heard downstairs due to the cameras creating a loud static sound that is cancelling out the loud screaming.

The screen cuts back to the footage of Sam's handheld camera's that is on the floor.

Sam quickly grabs a nearby hammer that is in his dad's toolkit and smashes an old water pipe that is sticking out of the wall. Angel runs towards Sam while screaming loudly, pushing the camera that is on the floor to the door. The camera captures Sam using the hammer to knock Angel out. Sam quickly uses the hammer and smashes the old water pipe broken. Water starts coming out of the pipe, extinguishing the fire. After the fire is extinguished, Sam is seen turning a valve to stop the water flow. Sam finally lets out a sigh of relief while holding Hunter.

The camera cuts to morning.
