"Goodbye mom. I'll miss you so much." I yell at her from the car window. She's just waving to me and wiping of her tears. I don't know how I'm gonna make it without my parents especially mom. Every step I took till today was with her support. They are the best parents ever. They made me live like a princess even if we're not rich. I'll miss my hometown too, Tulsa. I lived my whole life here so hopefully I will like it at Dallas, Texas. I worked so hard this year to get accepted at Dallas university and I think I deserve it.

My father is doing great, better than the previous days. He is driving us to the airport and he is going to accompany me and introduce me to his friend.

About that, it's the only thing that worries now because I will be staying a month in his friend's house because campus is full and the new building of dorms is not ready yet. I'm so nervous. I'm afraid if they don't like me. Dad said that this guy was his best friend when he was young and he helped him so much so he won't bother return the favor.

We arrive after almost one hour. I'm a little tired, last night I didn't sleep very well. We take a cab at the house of his friend which I didn't even ask him about his name. We arrive and there a big gate opens. Are we sure this is the address?!

I mean this is not a house. This is a mansion. Oh wow.

There's a big garden here, all green and alive. This is gonna be so cool. I love it here already. I hope its people are good too. The cab stops infront of the mansion's door. And there is a white old man waiting infront of the door.

As we climb out that guy smiles. "Oh Victor." My father says and makes huge steps towards him to finally hug him.

"John you have white hair." He replies hugging back my dad.

"It's been a long time. I miss you pal." He smiles. He seems so happy to see my father. He looks like a good guy. "I'm sure this young Lady is Anastasia " He smiles at me too.

"Welcome. Welcome. My house is your house." He accompanies us inside. I start looking at the roof which is very high. The haul is very big and well decorated. There's stairs at the end of the space. You know it looks like castle stairs. It's a big large one then it splits to two. One directs to the left and the other to the right.

There comes an old lady but dressed very well. Her skin is so flawless except for some crinkles in the corner of her eyes . Her body is so tight, she looks like she's in her twenties. "Welcome John. Anastasia nice to meet you." She welcomes us with a huge grin on her face, revealing her perfect white teeth.

"Nice to meet you too ma'am." I feel good not embarrassed or awkward. Everyone seems to know me already so I don't have to introduce myself.

"Oh call me Donna."

They head us to the living room, which is of course gorgeous just like everything else. We sit on the couches. Donna is so friendly with me. My father keeps talking with Victor about old memories and they're both laughing so hard and making us laugh too.

After almost a good two hours, my father left because he was going go back straight to Tulsa. They begged him so much to stay but he refused because he has work to do tomorrow. He's a cop and has a lot of responsibilities.

"Let me show you your room, dear." Donna accompanies me to my room and then she leaves me to rest and unpack. I feel fine here not like home of course but okay.

The room is pretty big comparing to mine in Tulsa. It is white but one wall is light beige. The decor is simple and modern. there is a painting of designed flowers on the wall. I like it. I put my bags on the bed. And there I hear voices of people yelling a man and a woman, I guess.
