Olivia Erem, that's what people had been calling me for the past year. It wasn't my name, no, it was the name of the girl I had...possessed? When reading transmigration stories I always wondered where the original host would be, but now I really want to know. Is she in my body, I just hope she's not dead. I hope I'm not dead, no I'm alive... I'm pretty sure. But, a coma...hmm maybe.'
My original name was Ellie cross, My life on earth wasn't particularly normal. But it's not like it was extraordinary. I lost people, had friends, and had a lot of personal issues.
I wasn't sure what was going on, why I was here, or how I was here; but I had decided to live like it was reality. Despite the fact that this was probably a dream. After all if this was a dream and I acted like a madwomen like my normal dreams then whatever, but if this was reality...
I shuddered, and grabbed my shoulders-or her shoulders. It was best not to think about it .
Olivia Erem, was a 16 year old girl who lived in a fantasy world with magic. She was an orphan picked up by the church and when her powerful magic was discovered The Royal Academy agreed to admit her as a scholarship student. Sure she had powerful magic, but it seemed to be more of a political move. Olivia would be representing the church and on a mission to make connections.
"Connections...tch"
This world it screamed cliches, it seemed exactly like an otome game, or maybe a villainess light novel. My older sister loved everything romantic, and made me read them. My best friend adored shoujo and josei and also made me read them. I didn't mind and even enjoyed a lot of them, and talking about them with my friend and sister was always fun. Of course after a while the cliches began to get on my nerves. Still it was fun to get mad at them...but I don't know if I can tolerate it in real life.
A loud knock sounded on my door, followed by a series of very loud, very aggressive knocks.
"Olivia!!!"
"Olivia open this door!"
Aaah, this could get infuriating .
I opened the door, slightly
A man wearing glasses with a stoic expression wedged his foot into the door before I could close it.
"Olivia, you're l a t e"
"Well, that was an intentional decision" I attempted to smile brightly at him, but I imagine I failed terribly.
He pushed open the door and grabbed my wrist. Pulling me into the hallway.
He walked quickly down the hallway and I followed him. "Olivia this is an important meeting, if you miss it the school might cancel the whole scholarship."
"Well, yes, but I can't stand the face of that cube-head examiner. If I have to be polite to that old sack of bones one more time I might explode"
He stopped walking and glared at me for several seconds, his lips twitched slightly and then his expression switched back to stoic. It was almost too quick to catch. Then without saying anything he continued walking .
Did he think I was joking? I'm trying to make a responsible decision here, I can't keep bottling my emotions in like this.
It was an ominous room, lit by candlelight. The examiner sat across from me, his hands were folded and his haughty atmosphere was contaminating the air.
Was there really a need to have a meeting in this place, do they really need to intimidate a young girl like this. Are they intimidating me? Or are they just really emo about student interviews .
