I woke up and drowsily sat up, then I searched my room hurriedly. I sighed in relief when no one jumped out at me or threatened me with their magic.
"Okay today, I'm going to get through the whole school day. I can't make a habit of skipping!"
Unfortunately on my way to class I was confronted by a red-haired boy. "Julius? What do you want?"
He frowned "you, what was your name on Earth?"
Aaah, a trick question. If I told him that it was Ellie he would find out, but if I told him I couldn't tell him he would be suspicious.
There's only one option then. I fell to the ground.
Julius poked me as I lay on the ground "did you just faint?"
this brat, have you no compassion?! I didn't teach you to act this way!
He sighed and I heard his footsteps walking away.
A few people came up to me and asked if I was okay. I kept my eyes closed for a few more seconds. Then sprung up from the floor "ah, I'm fine. There's no need to worry."
I pushed through the crowd of people that had formed a circle around the spectacle. I really have to get to class.
I managed to get to class on time. And I managed to make it through the first half of the day, but now... it was lunch time.
Lucina had made me promise to eat with her today, that should be terrifying.
I walked sullenly to the lunch room and sat down at an empty table when I didn't see Lucina. After a moment of waiting Lucina wasn't the one who sat down across from me, the person who did was Julius. Rats, I guess temporary solutions really are temporary.
"Are you hiding something?" He stared right into my eyes.
What should I do?
His hands shook "or am I just projecting, do I miss her that much. That I would be willing to look for her in some random girl."
Julius's eyes glazed over "Ellie...I can't keep going without you."
He buried his head in his arms and stopped moving. Is he...sleeping?
He continued to mutter in his sleep, I don't think I can keep it a secret from him. I don't have the heart for it and I don't think it will take him long to figure it out anyway.
I patted him on the head and he stopped muttering, I hope he sleeps easily at least.
I looked up and Lucina was staring at me with a blank expression. "You..just what exactly is happening here?"
"Ummm, lunch?" I responded with the only thing I could think of.
She looked toward me icily "do I look like I'm joking?"
"Hehe, no..."
I stood up and grabbed Lucina's hands "Lucina you want to use me for something right?"
Lucina blinked in surprise "what..."
"So if I was to disappear, you would save me right?"
"'And why would I do that?"
Ahh, why is everyone so difficult? "If I go missing and then you save me, I'll tell you everything"
She smiled "sure, I'll save you."
Before I could be relieved she started talking again "if I do save you, you have to become my servant."
"What? Your servant?!"
