《9》The Night of Memories

Many worried that the plan will fail because of the situation going on in town.

I was in my room thinking and working on the firework to signal the crew where the girls are at, by then two days later...

|Sakura's Pov|

Two days have passed meaning that the plan will take off once me and Yona step in the building. Meanwhile, we get ready, Yona had a light pink kimono and with a little a bit of make-up on while I am still getting ready and I sighed.

"Yona.... I look stupid I never wear these kinds of clothes!"

"Well.. You should they look pretty on you, Saku-chan"

"But... You don't think is too much..."

I looked away in embarrassment.

"If you trying to get Hak's or Jea-ha's attention, I'm pretty you will"

"E-eh! What do you mean by that Yona!?"

"Oh I thought you like Hak or Jea-ha, I'm sorry!"

"N-no it's fine Yona, and I do not like them! One, Jea-ha is a pervert and Two, Hak is.....an idiot."

"What's a pervert?"

She tilts her head while question marks are appearing top of her head and I sighed.

"Nevermind about that Yona you'll know when it's time"

I walked outside and everyone saw me in astonishment. I was wearing a short blue floral kimono and wearing light make-up on. I admit it I was nervous because they were staring at me, especially Hak and Jea-ha, I swear if they keep looking at me like that I will get my daggers and cut their throats but...... they know how to kill people in a flash so.... I'm just gonna leave it there.

"Can you guys stop looking at us, please"

"Why should we?"

"Hak."

I said warningly.

"Yeah, Sakura-chan you can't tell us, males, to look away"

Jea-ha got closer to me and I got my dagger then pointed at his neck. He backs away, I sighed and went to get the little firework then came back.

"Are you ready Saku-chan?"

"Yeah, hopefully"

It was time for the plan goes into action, so me and Yona started walking to the little building. 'Man I'm going to hate this so much.' A man in his 40's came up to us and said.

"What are you girls doing here?"

"We heard that you guys are hiring?"

"Why yes we are, in a matter of fact we need people to take this job, mostly the people that we hired, disappeared.

He turned around and open the door, showing a way to our doom. Note the sarcasm

"This way, girls"

We walked through the door and the man stared at us then slowly closes the door.

"Don't let your guard down" I whispered

Yona nodded and in a flash, a trap door opened making us fall to the abyss of darkness. We fell to the ground made of wood and went up to check on Yona if she was okay.

"Yona, are you alright?"

"Yeah"

She tries to stand up but falls down again, I looked if she had any injuries, 'she sprained her ankle while falling'.

"Yona, you sprained your ankle, it's okay it's not too severe but are you going to be able to walk"

She nodded and sat down somewhere then I went to sit down next to her that's when the door open showing the face of Keum-Ji, the lord of Awa.

"This merchandise seems I'm going to win a fortune in the Kai Empire"

He walked by next to me and grabbed me by the chin.

"Do I know you from somewhere?"

I stayed silent and glared at him, suddenly he punched me in the jaw.

"Answer ME!!"

I sit down in my knees and looked down with my bangs covering my face.

"No... Me and my sister wanted to help our father with the financial problems we had, when we heard that store was hiring we went there because they were going to pay well."

"You women always want the money just to help with their families."

"It's because we need it!!"

My blood was boiling and suddenly I received a kick in the gut then another punch in the jaw. Keum-Ji grabbed me by my hair while the others cried.

"Merchandise wasn't to backtalk to the boss"

"Leave her alone"

Keum-Ji looked at Yona and walked where she was at then he slapped her.

"Shut up! I wasn't talking to you"

He looked at me and started to shiver in a little bit of fear.

"Touch her or anyone else in here, you're dead."

"Bold words coming out of a small person like you"

"I. Mean. It!" I said in a demonic voice.

I glared at him and he stepped back then let me go. I sighed and took deep breaths trying to cool down.

"Saku-chan, are you ok?"

"I'm fine.... For now.. What about you? How's your ankle?"

"I'm not in any pain like it vanished when I getting angry"

"That might the adrenaline rush"

|Time Skip|

We got into the boat that was going to take us to Kai Empire, it was also the time for us to attack. Me and Yona, we're at the storage room where everyone else is. Rea is Yona's fake name, nobody should know the real identity of Yona.

"You ready Rea?"

"Yes"

"Are you Yuri?"

She nodded. Yuri, she's going to help us to navigate through the boat our goal is to make it to the deck. We heard the noise that the guards are distracted, I got up first and knocked out the two guards then I signaled the girls to go now and followed them.

One of the guards from outside came in and saw the two guards down, I took the opportunity to knock him out but failed because he noticed me and started to fight. I blocked him and kicked him in the face then fell down to the ground but, I didn't notice the guard woke up and grabbed by a headlock.

"Saku-chan!!"

"Rea! Yuri! Go now!"

"Nope, these girls are staying here"

"Wait."

"What?!"

"There's a bomb I set up in the deck"
