《Hak's Ending》

|Hak's Pov|

We've been fighting at two hours and we were getting tired 'I don't know how long we can hold them off, they just keep coming' I glance at Sakura and I can see her aim is getting weaker and awful. But not from afar I see her eyes glowing red while she shoots the arrows then Yona said something and Sakura nodded as she left, Yun started scolding Yona, clearly worried about Sakura.

I sense someone behind me, I was about to attack them but Sakura got to them first and looked at me with a smirk on her face.

"What?"

"You should be more careful on the battlefield, Thunder Beast. You've would've died just a second ago."

I rolled my eyes as I grabbed her wrist and pulled her close to me then whispered to her ear.

"You should be careful who you talk to, Saku" I put on my famous smirk.

"Wow. It's Saku now, not Saku-chan, weird" She said sarcastically while rolling her eyes.

I sighed and let go as she ran to attack the incoming soldiers on the left flank while helping the others along the way. We fought back and it felt like it was an eternity, I was tired that I didn't notice someone behind me and someone else called out to me.

"HAK!! WATCH OUT!!"

Everything happened in a flash, I only saw Sakura in front getting stab at her abdomen and killed the soldier that was behind as my eyes widened when she fell onto the ground.

"Sakura!!"

I killed the rest who was coming towards us and went to Sakura then I hold her in my arms. The rest of the group came over and Yun started to patched her up when he pulled the sword out of her abdomen, his eyes widened.

"Yun! What's going on!?!"

"They stab her with poison for vampires, she's going to die anytime soon!!"

He frantically started looking for herbs to help Sakura. I felt a hand wrapped around mine and I looked down it was Sakura, looking at me with almost dark eyes.

"Sakura.."

"Just.... Leave... It... Be"

"No! We'll try our best to keep you alive! We need you! I need you!!"

She chuckled a bit and coughed up some blood.

"That was so... Cheesy... Even for you, Hak"

"It's the truth"

She weakly raised her hand to my cheek and smiled as she put something on my hand, it was her necklace that the old had given her.

"Originally it was from... My mother..."

She placed a ring on my hand, next to the necklace 'I never saw her with it'

"My father gave it to me when I was seven... He said that this ring was for good luck.... And it did bring me luck"

"What do you mean?"

"It had brought me to Yun and Ik-su, it brought me to this group and my old friends. It brought me to you, Hak.."

"Shorty..."

"Please take care of them, they're my most prized possession....."

I leaned over and kissed her which she kissed back, softly. I felt tears falling down as I hold her hand tightly, clearly begging her not to leave us, not to leave me alone.

"I love you, Hak"

She kissed me on the cheek, finally, she closed her and her breathing got slower and quieter. Just like that, she was gone..... I leaned my forehead against hers as I cried in silence.

3 Years Later

I've been mostly using my time to train the new soldiers of Kouka. They were pretty strong for their age, I smiled weakly since Sakura has passed away, I couldn't smile or laugh like before everyone has been worried about me.

'It's been three years' I thought while looking at the night sky. Yona regained the throne and got married to the neighboring prince, she got pregnant with twins but the bastard left her when she was three months in. I sighed and heard a voice, it was droopy eyes.

"What do you want, droopy eyes?"

"Hak! It's her..! Beauty Saku, she's alive!!"

"No, she can't be, they killed her with the poison that was meant to kill her type"

"Just go to Yona's room! She's talking with Yona"

I didn't even think twice, I just started running to Yona's room and burst in without knocking. My eyes widened when she turned around, her eyes were permanently red and her hair is even longer than before.

"Saku..."

"Hey, Hak... I know it's been a long time-"

I cut her off by hugging her and I leaned in to kiss her, then I did. She kissed me back, we pulled away because we needed air to breathe and she chuckled.

"I'm guessing that you still love me?"

"Forever until death do us apart"

"Forever"

"I love you, Shorty"

"I love you too, Hak"
