I smiled with tears in my eyes and nodded while Gi-gan is putting the necklace around my neck.

|Hak's Pov|

We were saying our goodbyes to the pirates. I looked at Sakura, worriedly 'what happened yesterday?' She was gripping her necklace that the old hag gave her. Her village is close from here that's what Yun said. 'She's afraid to confront her village'

I put my hand on her shoulder to reassure her that everything will be okay then she nodded. We started walking away from the port, I felt that someone was following us and Saku-chan felt that too.

Then she whispered something to Sin-ha, he went over to a tree and use his sword to cut it down. It showed droopy eyes...

"Jea-ha! I thought you staying behind with Gi-gan?!"

"I was... Since your village is close to the port so... I came."

"Is that your reason or there's another behind all this, droopy eyes?"

"I don't know, you tell me"

I glared at the green dragon bastard then I sighed and looked away to continue walking. Yona was talking with Saki-chan, she looked pale and her eyes are red due to crying so much. Then two guards appeared and they pointed their swords at Saku-chan. I got my glaive and stand in defense waiting for orders.

"You vile demon! Why are you doing here in this village!?"

She took a deep breath and spoke.

"Me and my friends are trying to reach home, Hanako"

"Well, find another village to past through as along you're here we won't allow you to go in!!"

"Why do you believe what that guy said years ago?!"

"Because it's the truth!! Lord Haruka, never lies!! The only person who lies is YOU, DEMON!!!"

"HE KILLED MY FAMILY HANAKO!! I WAS LEFT AS A ORPHAN FOR YEARS AND SURVIVE OUT THERE IN THE REAL WORLD! BECAUSE OF HIM I CAN'T TRUST ANYONE!!!"

Saku-chan burst in tears after saying that and the guy still stubborn says.

"I don't care, your family were dangerous to the village and they were immediate to be exiled out the village"

Saku-chan grabs him by the collar and pulls him close while droopy eyes tried to make her let go of the guard.

"Listen to me once! I'm not the monster you guys think I am, I haven't drink any human blood in years! I've been able to control my powers at the age of fourteen."

"So?"

This guy is becoming a pain in the ass, I literally this close of punching the lights out and I'm sure that I'm not the only one.

"Oi"

"What! Don't you see I'm talking with the devil!"

He looks at me and puts a smile.

|Sakura's Pov|

I rolled my eyes as Hak started talking.

"One. You will not talk to Saku-chan like that. Second. Let us through just to get it over with and I'm not general anymore I'm retired."

"Because you're old, Mr. Hak?"

I could see the irk mark appearing on Hak's face as me and Jea-ha tried not to laugh but failed. We burst into laughter and send us deadly glares that made us shut up. But we still giggled when he wasn't looking, and his eyebrow was twitching in annoyance.

"I'm barely eighteen, how in the hell can I be old?"

"Maybe it's the wrinkles you have in your face? Pfft-"

I started laughing with Kija and Jea-ha, suddenly I was lifted off the ground and I turned into a chibi while hitting Hak's back.

"Oi! Put me down!"

"No. Anyways, like I was saying before this one interrupted me"

"Hey! I have a name you know!"

He glared at me then he turned to look at the guard.

"You better let us through or else?"

"Oi!"

"Of course, without her. I'll let you in and we don't want that demon to get anywhere near this village."

He let his flames come out turned into a fire dragon and launched it towards us. I got off Hak's shoulder and made a shield of dirt while my eyes are glowing.

"You should know better. That's not how we treat our guest, Hanako"

I smirked at him and he threw another fireball. I raised my hand to block it with the shield I already made and throw it at his way before it could hit him, I stopped it.

"I'm not a demon or a monster, I just have been through a tough time. Did you know it's almost the anniversary of the death of my parents?"

"No! I don't care about it!"

My eyes turned dull as they were filling up in tears. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath then I started to sing.
