Chapter 7

*Gray Thomas's POV*

"Aren't you tired yet?!" I laughed, Ryan, staring at me as if I just told him I hated him.

"Excuse you, I'm having a very important conversation," Ryan hissed, smirking softly as he turned back to Tayler who was just laughing. "Back to what I was saying, so Gray comes home and she's covered in mud and our older brother Matt is like 'what did you do? Did you bury a body or something?' and Gray just shrugs and goes 'the kid tried to kiss me so I stepped back and I feel down the hill in the back yard'. Now let me just describe this hill for you. It's like, the edge of a cliff. How long was the drop? I mean, you are the one who tumbled down a hill because you didn't want to kiss Tyler Jeffery," Ryan laughed as I just shook my head, glaring at Ryan. Then a smile crept on my face as I remember that moment, a soft giggle escaping.

"It was like a solid 100-foot hill that was just straight mud since it rained the day before," I smiled as Tayler laughed loudly, shaking his head.

"Alright, I'm good with my storytelling now," Ryan laughed as I nodded, smiling at him.

"Good," I giggled, standing up. "I'm gonna go back out and say good bye to everyone who's still here, but I'll be right back up. I'll sleep on the couch so if you need anything, just yell, alright?" I sighed, looking at my brother as he nodded, smiling up at me.

"You got it boss," he winked as I just giggled, shaking my head.

"Night big man," I smiled, leading Tayler out of the room.

"It was nice to meet you! Thanks for the intel," Tayler laughed as Ryan laughed loudly nodding his head.

"Anytime," Ryan laughed as I turned off the light, closing the door behind us as Tayler and I walked out.

"So," Tayler smirked, slipping his hands into the pockets of his jeans as he smirked at me, my face turning red.

"What?" I grinned up at him, crossing my arms as he bit his lip, looking down at me.

"Nothing," he winked, starting to walk towards the back door.

"It's just Ryan's imagination," I giggled, walking after him as he just nodded, a big smile on his face.

"Yeah, just his imagination," Tayler smirked down at me as I nodded, my heart racing as I looked into his eyes, the two of us standing there in the middle of my living room.

"Yep," I gulped, slipping my hands in the back pockets of my jean shorts, my heart beating out of my chest.

"So, you wouldn't care if I did this?" He smirked, cupping my face in his hands, leaning in slowly, kissing me gently. He pulled back, smiling against my lips as I giggled softly, shaking my head.

"Nope," I smiled, wrapping my arms around his neck, kissing him softly. He pulled back, a big cheesy smile on his face as he nodded, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"I knew it, all along you've liked Bryce," Tayler smirked as I laughed, nodding my head.

"You got me," I giggled, smiling brightly as I looked up at him.

"What are you doing tomorrow?" Tayler jumped as I shook my head.

"I'm very busy. I'm going to be stalking my one true love, Bryce, on Instagram," I smiled as he gasped, smiling softly.

"No way, I have a crush on Bryce too," he smiled as I laughed loudly.

"No way," I giggled. "Wait, what if we go and get lunch or something and gawk over our crush?" I smiled as Tayler nodded, smirking softly.

"It's like you read my mind," he smiled. His smile faded as he grabbed his phone from his pocket, looking down at it. "Speaking of the devil," he chuckled, slipping his phone back into his pocket.

"Don't tell anyone, you know how things get once other people get involved," I said softly as Tayler nodded, kissing me softly before letting go of me, heading towards the back door.

"I'll tell Bryce you're in love with him," Tayler winked as I just giggled, crossing my arms as I shook my head, watching Tayler walk out, a big goofy smile on his face as he walked out.
