Fire vs Water (MINICAT)

Chapter 12

Craig's POV

"Hey baby? You need to get up, training starts soon." My boyfriend says to me as I smile, I get up and get ready like I normally do putting on a white t-shirt and black ripped jeans and put my shoes before walking out the door along with Luke. We walked to the courtyard seeing My mother standing waiting for us, "finally You guys are here, today's a very important day for you guys, especially you Craig." She says looking at me, "what are we doing?" Luke asks, "well, the fire and water Phoenix have a very special power, and I don't mean your main power I mean a very powerful power." She says, I don't think I have read about these. "Craig, yours is the most powerful, but no fire Phoenix has ever been able to use it cause they weren't powerful enough. I've read in some books that they were missing something, but that was just a theory." She says, I feel myself go wide eyed cause I finally knew what she was talking about. "What makes you think i'll be able to do that?!" I yell as I wave my arms around. "What even is Craig's power?" Luke asks catching my attention, I look back to Lindsay waiting for her answer. "He can turn into a Phoenix, or can summon one but that's even harder." I feel both me and Luke go wide eyed as we look at her. "What do I have to do?" I ask finally giving up trying to fight it. She smiles before leading me to the middle of the field. "First, you need to relax your whole body and think of nothing but what you want to do." I listen and loosen my body and think of nothing but what I want to do. "Now, I know you don't have much control over your wings but you need to learn to control them." I nod my head at her as I try to let my wings free, it's like they have a mind of their own and the only time I got a little control over them was when I "killed myself" and flew away.

As I tried my hardest to bring them out it didn't work. I was breathing heavily by the time I gave up. "It's okay, we'll just need to practice a little more." I just nod my head not having enough energy to say anything. The rest the training went as it normally would expect I would try every now and then to control my wings, which again didn't work.

Tyler's POV

The guys and I were walking around the school, joking around with each other until we saw Luke and Mini up ahead. "We should go see the garden! I've heard it's really beautiful!" Jonathan says turning the direction we were going, heading the the garden in guessing.

Once we stopped in front of the garden we all stood back taking in the smell of the sweet flowers. "God this is really beautiful." I said as I wondered over to a orange flower (you can see where I'm going with this;) picking it up and bringing it to my nose to smell it. It smelled of sweet candy, I looked back towards the guys seeing them wondering around, Evan came over to me, looking down at the flower in my hand then back to my face. "You okay?" I nod my head knowing where he was going with this. "Just thinking you know?" Evan just nods his head well patting my back a few times. "We're always here for you Ty." "Thanks Evan, but we should probably get back before we miss our classes." I say meeting back up with everyone else then heading to our classes.

Mini time skip to later in the day around 6 pm.

I grabbed my pink hoodie before heading out the door to go for a walk, hoping maybe I'll see Mini again. I keep walking until I'm at the front of the school, seeing the path I walk towards it. As I was walking along the path I noticed the beautiful sunset in the background, truly beautiful. I decided to sit on a beach and just watch the sunset, seeing as no one was on this path.

"Hi again." A voice says from the side of me, I look over to see Mini smiling at me. I smile back at him, moving over a little bit so he could sit, he noticed and sat down beside me. "Beautiful isn't it?" He says, I turn my attention back to the sunset smiling like an idiot. "Yeah it is." I say turning to look back at Mini, he was wearing a black hoodie that had a little happy face on the front of it, (see what I did there? Some of you miniladd fans will) with light blue jeans and orange shoes. "Anyways What brings you out here?" I ask trying to start up a conversation. "I like going for walks to free my mind a little bit. What about you?" He asks looking up at me with tired eyes. "Pretty much the same reason, there's always a lot on my mind you know?" "Yeah, tell me about it." We both chuckle at his remark as we turn our attention back to the sunset, seeing that it was getting pretty dark out we started walking back to the school.

"You know, it's nice having someone that we relate to my problems." Mini says as we were walking back, it was almost totally dark outside as the stars started sparkling in the sky. "We should meet up like this more, you seem really cool." He says, I look over at him seeing he was looking up at the sky. "I would love that." I said starring right at him, he looked down from the sky to meet my eyes, a light blush creeped it's way to his cheeks as I just chuckle. "Okay then it's settled, we meet at that bench every night!" He said excitedly making me giggle. "Okay Mini." I say as we approach the school. "Well I guess I'll see you tomorrow Min. Goodnight." I say walking away well waving.

"What the hell happened to you?" Evan asked as I enter the dorm, with a big ass smile on my face. "Oh nothing, just met a new friend." "Oooo who?" He asks coming over to me. He turns into an owl and rests on my shoulder as I walk around the room. "He goes by Mini." Evan just hoo's at me causing me to chuckle. "Tell me more, cause I can tell there's something else." Evan says, (Tyler can understand what he is saying cause he is a hybrid as well.) I sign seeing there was not a way getting out of this. "He reminds me of Craig." I say looking down, Evan hoo's at me again as he pushes his head into my neck trying to comfort me. I bring up my hand to pet him a few times, he lets out a little "hoo" before flying off my shoulder and turning back into a human. "We should probably head to bed." He says getting into his bed, me doing the same. "Good idea." I say right before I fall asleep.

Sorry about the long wait, I was thinking about my ideas for my other book, also if you haven't already go read it. I have lots of plans for it. But anyways I hope you enjoyed the chapter. Have a great day!
