Chapter 18

Tyler's POV

Loves a weird thing isn't it? As I Lay down in my bed silently crying my eyes out because of Craig... my god. I wipe a tear that fell from my eyes as I check the time, seeing it was 2:30 in the morning. I decided to go for a walk to clear my mind.

I quietly get up off the bed, trying not to wake the peacefully sleeping Evan. I grab a black hoodie and walk out the door to the path. The halls were dark as the lights were turned off, it was so quiet that the only thing I could hear were my footsteps. My hands were stuffed in my jean pockets As I walk down the empty halls. I finally get to the path seeing a small figure pacing back and forth. They were panicking. I I thought as I slowly walked towards them. "Why am I even still here? After everything I've done to you... I miss you so much... I wish I could take back what I did... Luke doesn't make me feel the way you did... god I'm such a mistake.." I soon realize after talking about Luke that it was Mini. "Mini?" I say catching his attention, he whips his head around starring wide eyed at me, his hood was up as heavy tears rolled down his face. "Wi-wildcat?" He started crying more as I literally ran to him, pulling him to my chest as he cried more. He was shaking. I felt myself start to panic as well as my worry for the small lad in my arms grew. "What's wrong?" I make my voice as soft as possible to try and calm him down, it seems to work until he looks me dead in the eyes and starts crying more. "I-I'm su-such a mi-mistake." He whispers, I could barely hear him. "Mini you're not a mistake, why would you think that?" I ask pulling him away from me, only a little bit though. "Because, I-I ran a-way f-from the o-only family I-I had." I felt myself starting to tear up just listening to him cry, it broke my heart. I just nod my head as we stand there, the only things that could be heard were Mini's soft cries. I held him tightly in my arms as his cries filled my ears, making me tear up.

Mini began shaking more, his breathing quickening with every second that passes. "Mini, Mini what's going on?!" I pull him away from my chest only to see he barely had his eyes open, then... his breathing stopped.

I felt myself beginning to panic as my eyes grow wide. I lay him down on the patch of grass and try to do CPR on him, which doesn't work. I felt tears roll down my face but I didn't care for them, I only cared for the man laying in front of me. The man who reminded me so much of Craig. I put my forehead against his as I held his hand tightly. "Please don't leave me Mini.. you mean to much to me." My head was now on his upper chest, my breathing quickening as my panic attack got worse. Then all of a sudden a gasp was heard from him, he shot up like a bunny before his eyes landed on me. He quickly pulled me towards him as he rocked back and forth with me in his arms. I just cried as I kept saying how much he scared me. "What happened?" I asked, now looking up into his beautiful green eyes. "I blacked out, but I'm okay now." I just nod my head as I rest my forehead on his shoulder as he played with my hair. "Why were you awake?" He asks tilting his head to the side. "I was panicking and couldn't sleep so I went for a walk and found you here, also panicking". He just pulls me back into his chest as I let out a sad chuckle. "I'm sorry." He says making me pull away from him. "Why are you apologizing?" "Because.. I made you panic." "Oh Mini." We rest our heads together as we begin breathing the same air. "Don't ever worry about something like that, just call me if you ever need me Okay?" "Okay." After that we just stayed there, resting our heads together starring into each other's eyes. "Thank you for this." He says avoiding eye context with me before moving his eyes back to mine. "Your welcome. That's what best friends are for." He just smiles at me as the sky begins to turn lighter, meaning it was becoming morning time. "We should head back before they all wake up." "Yeah, you're right." He says as we pull away from each other, he grabs my hand as we start walking back together, hand in hand.
