Trapped inside
A dark box.
Without any connection,
To the outside world.
She was drowning,
In her own world.Shivering in fear, she waits
Waits for a ray of sunshine
To glimmer inside
Through the closed window
Which seems blocked due to
The fog outside. She sits in the dark.
Constantly thinking about her past.
Chained to the wall of loneliness,
She sits there, waiting,
Waiting for the dawn to arrive. But as time passes by
The resolve in her starts to die
Little by little, she starts to
Lose her mind.Still, the hope in her thrives,
Hope that someday
She'll get outside
And see the sky glimmer with light.
