GENESIS PART 5

Y/N's POV:

I opened my eyes with a gasp and jolted up, I found myself on my bed in my bedroom "Ugh, another dream..." I said, I jumped up from my bed and looked to my blue stone that I found on my dresser, I picked it up and rubbed it against my thumb "But, it felt so real..." I said to myself, I put the stone inside of my drawer to prevent any pesky birds from taking it again

I exited my bedroom and went to the bathroom to get ready for the day, I began washing my face, but upon drying my face off, I noticed my right eye glow with blue "Ah!" I screamed, I stumbled back and fell on to the floor, I picked myself up to look in to the mirror again, however my eyes looked completely normal 'Am I imagining things?' I suddenly heard a knocking at the door

"Y/N?, are you okay?" I recognized the voice to be the voice of my Grandmother "Yes, I just fell, I'm fine" I replied "Well, hurry up, you have a big day today" She said 'That's right, today we're going far in to the North, I better get prepared' I exit the bathroom and went straight to my room, only to find my Grandmother in my room going through my clothes

"Grandma?" I asked "Oh, hi, I'm just laying out some winter clothes for you to wear, I heard you're going far" She explained "Yeah, but I can find my own clothes, besides, you should be resting" I said "I'm actually feeling much better today, besides, how can I rest when I know that you'll be parting on a dangerous mission, you're not even prepared yet" She said "Yeah, but-" "By the way, I made the breakfast you asked for" She said

"Huh?" I asked "Remember?, last night you asked for me to make you a big breakfast in the morning since you may be away for a while" She replied "Last night?, I don't remember-" I felt a sharp pain in my head as I tried to remember the night before, I held my head in pain "Ow..." I muttered "Are you okay?" Grandma asked "I'm fine..." I said "Then let's go eat some breakfast" She said

She and I left my room and walked to the kitchen, I was still confused considering that I didn't remember coming home last night, the last thing I remembered was leaving the Grand Hall, and that odd dream I had

I arrived to the kitchen, only to find a stack of pancake topped with banana, strawberries and syrup, not only pancakes, but a bowl of oatmeal, graham crackers, and avocado toast as well. 'Now I'm positive that I don't remember asking for this' I sat down at the table "Eat up, you don't want to late" Grandma said "Thank you" I said, I began eating the breakfast that I apparently asked for, it consisted mostly of grains and carbohydrates which I didn't mind, however why would I ask for this specifically?

After about 30 minutes I had finished eating, and left the table "Thank you for the food" I said "No problem, dear, be sure to pack everything that you need for your long task" She said "I should really clean up before I-" "No time, you've only got thirty minutes, go get prepared" Grandma said "Thirty minutes!?" I asked, I went straight to my room to change in to a different set of clothes, I decided to go with the dark brown pants and a red long sleeved shirt, I put them on along with my winter boots and winter jacket

"Oh, yeah, can't forget my stone" I said to myself, I opened my drawer and took my blue stone out, I put it in my pocket and went straight to the bathroom to brush my teeth, however as I began squeezing out the toothpaste, it shot out all over the mirror, leaving nothing left in the tube "Whoops..." I said, I scrapped my toothbrush against the toothpaste covered mirror to get toothpaste on my toothbrush

I began brushing my teeth with no further interruptions or accidents, until I was finally finished, I turned the sink on and took in a handful of water in my mouth before gargling it 'I wonder what the others are doing right now, knowing them they're probably already there' I spit out in to the sink and rinsed my toothbrush off, I turned the faucet off and exited the bathroom
