Y/N's POV:
There, in front of me stood my mother, she gave me a warm smile, I was struck with disbelief "Hi, Y/N, it's been a while, how are you?" She asked, tears began strolling down my face as I could see my mother in front of me "T-This has to be some sort of dream, I-" My mother suddenly hugged me tightly, I felt my arms move on their own as they wrapped around my mother to hug her
My body couldn't stop shaking as I was hugging her, I looked over my mother's shoulder, and even more shock came across me as I saw Vaaridhar standing behind my GRANDMOTHER...AND GRANDFATHER!
My Grandmother and Grandfather joined in to hugging me as well, I was speechless at this point with my emotions running in every direction possible, it was difficult for me to speak, however I managed to get two words out
"I-I'm sorry" I said, the three of them stopped hugging me "For what?" Mom asked
"EVERYTHING, I just learned how you and Grandpa died, I wasn't around to protect Grandma, I lost against Duncan and Genocide, and now Vaaridhar's dead too" I replied
"It's not your fault, dear, you did nothing wrong" Grandma said "Yeah, you learned about the truth and responded accordingly, I'm proud of you" Grandpa said "But, now it's time for the final round" Mom added "Final round?, but aren't I dead?" I asked "Not entirely, you're just barely hanging on by a thread" Grandpa replied
"But I can't win, Genesis is not with me anymore, how am I supposed to beat Genocide?" I asked "Only a great hero can defeat a villain like Genocide, and you know that" Grandpa replied "B-But I'm not a great hero, you were more of a hero than I ever was, everyone respected you for what you did ten years ago, sacrificing yourself to stop Genocide, and the events prior to that" I said
"Wait, you call her Genesis?" Grandpa asked "Yeah, why?" I asked "I used to call her Sapphire" He replied with a chuckle "W-Wait, are you saying that you were her previous host!?" I asked "Now you're getting it" Grandpa replied, I gave an distraught chuckle as I fell to my knees
"No wonder I could never catch up to you..." I said "I'm sorry, Y/N, but look at all of what you've done so far" Grandpa said
"What do you mean!?, I nearly died 400 times!, was bullied by almost everybody due to me being weak!, I nearly lost my hero career!, and the only thing that solved that was me meeting Genesis!" I yelled
"That may be true, however, life is not always easy, everyone has been helped by someone in their lives, what's wrong with that?" Grandma asked "Nothing, it's just that I can't go back, I nearly got killed with Genesis, if I go back without her I'll definitely die" I replied
"Without Genesis!, I'm just a weak, lacking low rank who doesn't deserve to go back to Atmos!, I had the chance to stop Duncan and Genocide!, but I failed!, I failed everyone!, the civilians!, the heroes!, my family!, even Genesis!" I yelled, I began to tear up again
"Y/N, do you remember that song that I used to sing to you when you were a kid?" Mom asked "Y-Yeah, I do" I replied, my mother began singing
After hearing my mother singing, I was left in slight dismay, the song made sense, however, I still had my doubts about going back "Even if you're right, there's no denying that I'm powerless right now, what can I do?" I asked
A white feather suddenly came down from above, I caught it in my hand and looked up, only to see an angel with four wings, however, she looked just like Genesis
