-Hi! I don't really know what to say so...Enjoy!-

Natsu's P.O.V

3:36 p.m.

"Wendy!" I call out as I enter our house.

"She just left to go to the park with her friends," Xavier said, devouring another bag of chips on our couch.

"Did she say when she'd be back?" I ask, walking over and setting my bag down.

"Nope."

I let out an irritated sigh and Xavier chuckled. "If she needs help she'll text you."

"Oh! I should just text and ask how long she'll be gone!" I exclaim, getting my phone out from my pocket.

"Natsu, don't do that. You know you'll just get paranoid when she doesn't text back immediately."

"Well, what if she needs help? What if she's getting kidnapped? If she doesn't text back then I know to go look for her."

"No, you know that she's having fun and might have her ringer off."

"Wendy would never have her ringer off! Here, I'll show you."

"Chill out, Natsu. Just let her be. If she's gone too long, then you can worry."

I sigh and hesitantly put my phone away, sitting next to Xavier. I look over at him as he eats the cupcakes I just bought. "When are you gonna stop freeloading off us and get your own place?"

"I don't need to. You're rich enough to pay for all three of us and you don't have the heart to kick me out." Xavier states, licking icing off his fingers.

"You could at least pay for your own food," I mumble.

He laughs and walks over to the kitchen to grab more to eat. "How am I supposed to do that with no job?"

"Get a job."

"Don't make it sound so easy. I'm a high school drop out who has no experience in anything."

"Hey, I didn't have any experience either and I didn't go to college."

"Yeah, you're just a super genius," He stated, closing the fridge with his foot as his hands were too full.

"You could at least get a fast-food job. They don't require experience or education."

"Why would I? I'm living the life!"

I let exhale heavily and slouch back on the couch as Xavier sits back down.

"So how was it at the office, Mr. Bigshot?"

"Fine, I guess," I sigh. "Same as it has been for the last two years."

"Now, I'm sure that's not true," Xavier said with a mouth full of food. "The second you started running the place, sales skyrocketed. It's gotta have changed since then."

"Eh. Just really busy," I say nonchalantly. "Can you toss me a sprite?"

Xavier nods and hands me a can of sprite. I open the tab and take a sip as we sit in silence.

"You wanna turn the TV on or something?" He asks, looking over at me.

"No! I just need...quiet. My head's about to explode."

"Haha, you sound like an old man."

"Shut up. I have people constantly complaining and coming to me with problems and I have a butt load of paperwork to do, not to mention all the meetings I have coming up next week. Then, I have to listen to the magic council chew me out for allowing my workers to use magic around the kids who toured the company AND a bunch of employees decided to take their break at the same time so I'm totally short on both workers and resources and I'm just about to lose my goddamn mind!"
