FERNANDO'S POV:

It was summer vacation, which meant no classes. I'm attending college with my girlfriend, Genevieve, who I knew all my life since we grew up together in my dad's hometown. When my parents finished college, they had me and dad's parents offered to take care of me so they can start their careers. When they did, I didn't want to leave my grandparent's house until I started college in Los Angeles about 2 years ago.

Genevieve and I are in the dining room table when I feel her nudging me on my arm.

"Babe, your dad's car is in your backyard," Genevieve said, pointing towards the direction of my dad's car that eventually hit a chair by the pool.

As soon as she said that, the both of us bolted out of the dining room at the same time as my dad, my little brothers, and the nanny that my parents got for my younger siblings. As we got to the car, my little sister came out of the driver's seat.

"I didn't mean to, it was an accident" Becky said as she approached us and my dad hugged her.

"I don't care, are you alright? What the heck were you doing?" My dad said when he released my sister from the embrace.

"I was trying to use the navy," Becky said.

The what?" I asked my girlfriend quietly and she shrugged.

"The navy, what's the navy?" My dad asked Becky, wondering the same thing.

"The navy in the car who asks you the question" Becky explained to us.

"You mean the navigation system, idiot" Kiethie said.

"Shut up, Kiethie" I told my little brother in a angry tone as I smacked him upside the head.

Genevieve put a hand on my arm to calm me down.

"Kiethie, relax" my dad said to my brother.

"Some man called and he said your friend, Coach Buzzer, went to heaven. I was trying to find heaven for you on the navy system so you can go visit him" Becky said, which caused Genevieve and I look at each other since we know that our dads loved Coach Buzzer.

"Who's your friend, dad?" Becky asked.

"Coach Buzzer was someone very special in daddy's and your brother's life. That's terrible. Ok, go drink some hot chocolate with these guys, sure your okay?" My dad asked my little sister.

Becky nodded and my siblings began walking inside.

"Do you think you can find out when's the funeral?"  My dad asked.

"I'll make some calls," I answered.

"You do that and I'll make arrangements for this weekend," my dad said before the three of us walked in.

I guess we're going to New England.

We just didn't know how this weekend was going to change the rest of our lives.
