FERNANDO'S POV:
Today it's July fourth and we're all relaxing before we go to the lake to celebrate with the town. Everything was fine, until we saw Rob chasing Marcus, so we all ran to see why Marcus was being chased.
"Maybe I was flirting with him, but that was to get your attention" Amber said to her father.
"Then what happened to your forehead?" Rob asked Amber.
That's when I noticed the cut on her forehead.
"I was changing into my pj's until I noticed some creep watching through the window, so I went to close the blinds when I tripped and hit my head" Amber answered.
Genevieve nudged and pointed to where Andre and Greg were lowering themselves.
"Dude, that's your daughter. Do you really think I would do that?" Marcus asked.
"Since your the only one not married from your friends, pretty much" I answered.
My dad and their friends agreed and added on to my statement.
"Amber wouldn't date me because I'm me. I'm sorry I don't have my life together like Lenny" Marcus said to group of friends.
"Together like Lenny" My mom said angrily.
"What's wrong, Roxanne?" My dad asked my mother.
"I answered your phone, hypocrita. I asked your agent if he cancelled the tickets to Milan and he said he did, BEFORE WE EVEN CAME HERE!" My mom answered.
"Roxanne, our youngest children are becoming snotty and snobby. I wanted them to be around normal people like Fernando" my dad explain.
"The reason that Fernando was sent here was because you didn't want to be a father. You said that you weren't ready for to be a father yet," My mom yelled, which surprised everyone around us.
"That's why I came here and you both never came for me for a while?" I asked, angrily.
"Son, we were young. I know that doesn't excuse anything, but I wasn't ready to be a father. Your mother wanted you to stay with us, so my parents offered to help us raise while we were in college and had stable jobs after we graduated. Once that happened, you told us that you wanted to stay no matter how much we wanted you to come live with with us" My dad answered.
"I was angry because by the time you wanted me to come live with you, there was already three kids that the both of you had. I was mad at the both of you because I had to discover how to be a man without you. The one thing I wanted was my father to be with my but you weren't there, the only man I had in my life is Marcus" I said before walking away.
LATER ON:
I was sitting on the porch when I see my parents walking my way.
"What?" I asked.
"We wanted to apologize" My dad answered.
"You have nothing to apologize for anything" I told my parents, not wanting to have this conversation at the moment.
"Yes we do. We don't want you to think that we didn't want to have you after having your siblings" my mom tells me.
"To late for that" I mumbled.
"I didn't think you needed me that much when you were growing up" My dad tells me.
"Listen, I don't want to talk about this" I tell my parents.
"i think we should" My dad pushes.
"Dad, it was a long time ago and talking about make me angry. It's gonna take me a while to forgive you both, but I will will in the future. Does that sound like a deal?" I asked my parents and they nodded.
