Andrea stepped up to Mrs. Malfoy, "Hello ma'am, this is Thalia, Reyna, and Kaitlyn, and I'm Andrea."

"Ahh, yes. The demigods, correct? Children of Zeus, Mars, Hestia, and Athena, if I'm not mistaken," the two-toned older woman replied

"Actually ma'am, I'm a child of Bellona." the former praetor gently corrected.

"Not suprising, those two have such similar energy in their children. She hasn't had a child in centuries, though. Your mother must be a very distinctive woman. She always did like the tropical types."

"My mother? My father is from Puerto Rico...."

"I'm sorry, dear. Your mother usually went for the women. She hasn't had a child with a man since around the birth of Jesus."

"Excuse me miss. But tea is ready in the front parlor. Mistress told me to inform you and have you bring the guests inside." a small elf popped up and spoke to Narcissa.

"Yes of course. I'm so sorry, would you like to come in? Bethany, call Karen and take their bags up to the rooms." At this point, Thalia placed down their bags and all the demigods followed her to the house.

The demigods made small talk with Narcissa and another woman, who they learned was her wife, Cassidy. Draco had dissapeared somewhere, and they talked until Andrea asked a question.

"Excuse me for being rude, but how do you know so much about Bellona? Earlier you talked as if you knew her."

"Aah, that Athena curiosity." Cassidy laughed. "In fact, I'm a land siren," the same woman continued," I was born a few decades before her, and knew her through the centuries. I guess I talk about her a lot, and Cissy picked up on it."

"I've never heard of a land siren," Kaitlyn commented, confused.

"The wizards call our half-mortal children veelas, but I am a pureborn. We are extremely alluring, and mortal men have and will kill themselves and each other for us. Lisa Gioconda, the woman who sat for Da Vinci's Mona Lisa, was a land siren. Unfortunately, she died a few decades later. Let's see, Empress  Elisabeth Eugenie of Ausria, and all of her children, were veelas. Cleopatra was a land siren, as well as Hatshepsut and Nefertiti. They all married mortal men, though, and produced veelas."

"They were all born into their families, though. How were they land sirens and veelas?" Andrea inquired.

"The old practice of stealing their children and replacing them with our own. The mothers spent so little time with their children, using slews of nannies and maids. It was very easy. That particular practice was stopped by the Junta*, who decided that the parents had to raise their children until the local Basilius* decided they were ready to become Trogladytes* and live alone."

After that was said, the young blond, Draco, came into the room. "Mother, it is getting late. Are you going to let the guests go to bed? They will need to rise early in order to learn all that is necessary to become the teachers."

"Yes, of course. Excuse me, I got so caught up talking to you that I completely forgot! Bethany, Karen." She called, "Come show the guests to their rooms."

Two elfs popped out of nowhere, the one they had seen earlier, and one they hadn't. "Follow us, misses." the one they hadn't seen said. "We will show you to your rooms."
