"Why did you save me?"
Mingi didn't expect Yunho to still be awake, being that they had been laying in bed for a few hours. It was quiet, so he thought Yunho fell asleep.
"Because if I didn't, you were going to die." Mingi muttered.
He knew Yunho was doubting every bit of his intentions and presence.
"Do you love me?"
"I don't know"
"Oh" Yunho let out a weak laugh, mentally slapping himself.
"What did I expect?" He said before letting out a small yawn.
He wanted Mingi to at least lie, even if it did hurt. To him, it was just a small white lie. Something to just help him sleep that night.
"Just lie and say yes, please?" Yunho whispered.
A sigh left his mouth when Mingi didn't reply.
He knew what he was saying was ridiculous. It seemed simple, but he knew Mingi was not going to simply lie to him.
"Why do you want me to say it?" Mingi muttered.
Even though he would not say it, he only held Yunho against him closer.
"Because it would make me feel better." Yunho hesitated to say.
"But what about later?" Mingi muttered.
"What about it?"
"It will just hurt you later."
"But, I'm used to it." Yunho laughed out weakly.
Even though nothing about the situation was funny, he couldn't help but laugh. He looked at himself as the joke at the moment. Trying to get Mingi to lie about loving him.
He just wanted Mingi to say it.
Because he felt hurt.
"It's my fault though. I kind of knew this would happen." Yunho muttered.
He knew it from the jumpstart. It was why he asked Mingi not to hurt him the first time they had sex.
It had nothing to do with being physically harmed.
Yunho was scared to be emotionally hurt again. All because of the pain that still lingered from his last lover.
"I do...I just can't say it." Mingi sighed out.
Yunho wasn't surprised though. He did not feel that way one bit. It took a while just for Mingi to kiss him, which seemed different from anyone else.
"Is it because of them? The person you're supposed to be marrying?" Yunho asked before biting his lip, trying not to cry.
"Yeah, it's because of her."
Mingi felt guilt hit him once he heard Yunho sniffle.
He felt guilty because he was falling for both of them.
It was for different reasons though.
Mingi naturally loved and adored Yunho.
As for his fiancée, it was forced.
It felt wrong to lay in bed with Yunho, knowing he would probably but also eventually break his heart.
"I'm not using you." Mingi muttered.
"I know." Yunho sniffled out.
Yunho knew that Mingi was staying because he asked him to stay.
He thought it was toxic too.
"You should go." Yunho said while sitting up.
He looked over to see Mingi still laying there. Seemingly not willing to budge nor leave. Mingi wanted to stay, even if it didn't feel right.
"Mingi, I'm serious." Yunho sighed out.
He gulped once Mingi sat up before unwillingly getting out of the bed. Yunho broke down in tears once Mingi left the room, closing the door behind himself.
"Why?" Yunho sobbed into his blanket, feeling as if it was hard to sleep now.
He already missed the warmth beside him. Longing for the tight embrace he would get from Mingi.
"I'm sorry" Yunho cried into his pillow, forcing himself to lay down.
He felt ridiculous for asking Mingi to love him. Thinking that it was absurd to ask for such things from a Demon.
Telling himself that he had fallen into his own trap.

Yunho let out a groan as his alarm went off, throwing his phone after turning it off.
He had only slept for thirty minutes, being that he cried the whole night.
"I'm voluntarily skipping class" Yunho muttered.
After sitting on the edge of his bed for a few minutes, he forced himself to get up.
"Coffee sounds like a good idea" Yunho chuckled before opening his bedroom door.
His body felt heavy with every step he took, ready to fall asleep on the spot.
"I got this~ I'm going to get over him!"
Yunho smacked his forehead once he got to the end of his hall, peeking into his living room.
It was impossible to complete his goal of the day.
Seeing that Mingi was still in his apartment, sleeping on the couch.
