I was in the middle of open surgery when my phone's ringer rang. 'Shoot shoot shoot" I thought to myself.
Ok not the best time, especially because I was removing metal shrapnel from a man's shoulder. So I maybe did something dangerous.... Ok yes I did. I took the metal out of the skin.... ok yes it was with my hands and not the tongs. I dont need your judgement it already happened! Plus he was asleep so he didn't feel a thing.
The nurse's were shocked to my brash actions. To avoid any confrontation, I just healed the man's shoulder in under 2 seconds and sprinted off.
Ok I can feel your judgment through the screen, I'm sorry. I checked in later with the man and he was fine and healed perfectly normal.
As I was saying, I was sprinting. There was a reason I wore my black tank top and joggers below my uniform today, the entrance exam.
"The hospital is 4 minutes away if I walk. So it makes no sense to take the train or car. And I can even write up my report on the man with shrapnel's surgery. He also had a bruise on his knee which I also healed, but that was probably because he was in a construction accident." I was mumbling, AGAIN! I swear I'm never going to break this habit.
So yeah I wasn't looking where I was going and tripped. Very hero like, I know. But as I was falling, suddenly the tan concrete that made up the floor, just stopped. Or well I guess I was the one who stopped.
My body floated until my feet landed on the ground and I turned to the reason I didn't have a face full of the ground. The girl who stopped my fall was smiling, "Hi I'm Uraraka Ochaco, I'm sorry for using my quirk on you but I figured you wouldn't mind."
And I blushed like an idiot and stuttered a response of, "Y-yeah thank you, I'm Izuku Midoriya! N-nice to meet you!" She then turned a light shade of pink when she realized our high difference.
See, I like to be tall. Ok I dont need more of your judgment. But I usually like to be tall because if I looked like a child doing very advanced operations on adults I would be questioned, and honestly I didn't need that in my life.
Feeling uncomfortable with the high difference, I changed back to my normal 5'5 1/4 ft (166cm) tall. "Sorry about that! I usually am this tall, I just came from my internship so..."
Uraraka was fazed for only 2 seconds and then snapped back to her own brain. "Oh so your quirk is growth?" The girl asked as we started to walk toward the doors of the auditorium. "Um... no not really," as more blushing from me occurred. 'Great I love being pansexual and falling in love with every single person who talks to me like a normal human being,' I secretly thought to myself.
"Oh, If you dont want to tell me that's fine..." the girl stumbled over her words
"Haha," I interrupted her by nervously giggling, 'yeah I was doing great in this regular human conversation,' and then said out loud, "Well no I dont mind, I have an advanced healing quirk."
Confusion crossed the young girl's face as we finally took some seats in the auditorium. "Well how did you grow..."
Her sentence was, once again, intruded on by Present Mic's loud voice yelling, "Hello Heroes!" And we silenced ourselves for his long speech... well at least I thought I was quiet. Apparently I was mumbling through Present Mic's speech.
A blue haired male pointed it out, to which lots of blushing occurred. Because 1)he was hot and 2)because I embarrassed myself in front of potential further peers.
I'm assuming all of you know what the exam looked like tho. Because a couple years back when Shinso, a pro-hero now, started a petition to make the trials at U.A. more far.
