Chapter 11- Damned Zippers

And I was running late. 

Of course I was running late to the sports festival! 

I was busy at the hospital and I lost track of time. I mean I usually work in the mornings but I completely forgot. And that day of all days!

After tripping over my red shoes about fifty times on my way to U.A., I finally burst into the room 1-A was occupying.

 Well, I also ran into Kamui woods and got an autograph before I came into the 1-a room! He was super chill about everything and even got Mt Lady to come over and sign my note book too!! It was so cool. Their hero outfits were very interesting up close, I mean Mt Lady's outfit especially  because it grow with her.... 

I'm rambling again. Kacchan is also reading this 'blog' thing so I really do have to keep the geeking out to a minimum(hi you angry Pomeranian) plus I already said I would stop that. 

Anyways, I literally burst through the doors to see Todoroki and Kacchan staring daggers at each other and everyone looking scared that they might blow up the entire school. More specifically Kacchan... Kacchan would probably blow up the entire school. 

"I was wondering where you were Midoriya!" Uraraka said, "Look everyone its Midoriya!" She said that last sentence with wide eyes and a forced giggle. She was obviously trying to stop whatever was just going on with Kacchan and Todoroki. 

But to Uraraka's words Kacchan just turned to me and gave me his signature smirk and yelled, "are you going to challenge me too? Because I will blow your face up!" 

And then I was blushing for no reason whatsoever except that Kacchan was acknowledging me.... come on world!!! why and I like this? 

"N-no Kacchan I wouldn't. I just came from the hospital I'm sorry I was late and for..." 

"Can it Nerd!" Kacchan interrupted me for the millionth time in my life, "get ready so I can destroy your ass" 

Then heat rose to my freckles cheeks again! Aaaaaaa no!! Destroying asses are for other times Izuku. So I just awkwardly nodded and then literally sprinted to the corner and got out my duffle bag with my gym clothes. 

I slipped the navy blue pants over my legs. And started to zip the jacket up. I quickly glanced up to see Todoroki coming over in my direction. I started to fumble with the zipper as I stared at the boy with  heterochromia.  

I couldn't get the zipper up, so glanced down for a second. As soon as I did, Todoroki said, "Do you need help with that?" Which scared the ever living All Might out of me.

I glanced up once again at those wonderful eyes and let my hands float to my sides subconsciously. Which Todoroki took as a yes.   

Everything felt numb as Todoroki took my metal zipper and slowly zipped up the jacket of my gym uniform. 

His half white and red hair dangled in my face as he put one hand on my small waist to hold down the jacket, which in turn, let him move the zipper up all the way.

I was completely mesmerized. I could feel the oddly cold yet warm breath on my face as he placed his forehead on my forehead. 

"U-um your hot..." said into the tall male's eyes.... aaaaaaaand immediate regret hit me so fast, I just started to spew out words like, "and cold. Your hot and cold thats your quirk. That's a cool quirk! I mean yeah its cool because its ice and stuff. Haha. Wow its hot in here. Is that you? Haha just kidding. I'm going to shut up now."

 I hid my head in my hands as Todoroki pulled away and finished toying with my zipper. Still in very close proximity, Shoto said, "Bakugo and me were just fighting over who will win... who will you be cheering for?" 

I blankly stared up at him.

Of course I asked him later to see why he said that, and not something hot or romantic. Asking who he was rooting for I guess was kind of hot but like... I wanted to win! He says nowadays that he had no clue how to flirt. So please be nice to him and don't be mean to Shoto. He was trying! 

So yeah anyways I just tilted my head, which was about 2 inches away from Todoroki's own head, and said " but I want to win." 

OK OK!! We were both stumbling idiots ok? I dont know how to flirt, he doesn't know how to flit! It's awkward but it's... us ok? I just said what was on my mind. This is a judgment free zone, and if you are Kacchan you can shove your mean response up ur butt!

See... Shoto was obviously not expecting that response. He just responded with starting to my eyes for 1 seconds and then started to smoke with embarrassment and realization that he was so close to me. 

"Oh my gosh Shoto are you ok?" I asked innocently.

And then he burst into flames. I don't know if you caught that, but basically I called him Shoto... his first name... not Todoroki. So yeah I was basically adding to the flame. 

Mina literally rushed in with a fire extinguisher and squirted the substance everywhere. 

Apparently she was on stand by because everyone in the class was watching Todoroki help me get dressed! Because of course they were. They were literally on stand by so that Todoroki doesn't burn down the entire school. 

"Midoriya?" Uraraka says with a shaky voice, "what's with your skin?"

At this point I was very very confused and still super flustered. Shoto was literally on fire with his hands over his face, I just called Todoroki by his first name, and Uraraka is concerned about a blush? 

Either way I looked down at my skin to see it was bright pink. My skin was entirely pink! I looked like Ashido... but with a bit more of a peachy pink rather than her light pink. 

Embarrassed, I put my head in my newly zipped jacket. I also made myself physically shrink a bit. 

All Uraraka's outburst and me shrinking encouraged everyone to look at me, instead of the flaming candy cane. 

So I turned an even brighter pink and crumpled into a ball on the floor. This time with my hands on my freckled cheeks. Cupping my cheeks so hard that my lips puckered out. 

"Everyone be prepared we are about to go out... Midoriya and Todoroki what are you two doing?" Aizawa states in a monotone voice as he enters the preparation room. 

"NOTHING" I yelled while only slightly moving my hands away from my face... which also lessened of an aggressive puckering of my lips. But my yelling only made us look more suspicious. 

"Doesn't matter, you are going out in...5 minutes. Todoroki stop impersonating a candle and Midoriya just because you can change your skin on command doesn't mean you have to copy Kirby" Aizawa states and turns around to walk out of the room, "Ill be commentating with Mic, so when you get hurt I dont hear any of you crying... Problem child you deal with any injuries with Recovery Girl." 

He then mumbled, "I dont get payed enough to for this"

Heyyo! I haven't written in a while geez. I finally finished HxH and 8 novels. Anyways yeah I hope everyone stays safe and plz let me know if there was any spelling mistakes <3 also if you guys want to see a specific ship bc I literally ship everyone and everything lol -Kelly (1262 words)
