Stiles hated Beacon Hills.

Really expecting things to change was a special load of crap, he ate his breakfast with Cora, a new rule instigated by Maya, as of today, to share a meal. To experience camaraderie; what in the name of hell? If he told Peter he was enjoying breakfast at six in the morning with his niece, he'd laugh himself silly and make a joke about kitchen knives, or something, the man's wit was terrifying.

"This is a whole new level of weird", Cora commented, eyeing Walker warily as he avoided Allison entirely protecting his food and keeping a solid distance from the huntress, even though Allison was doing the exact same thing and they were sitting directly opposite each other. And people wondered how she could be with Scott as she was or is—prejudices don't die so easily.

Allison sat to Stiles' left, Lydia one seat beside her, Scott sat beside Walker, and each of them had at least one empty seat between them.
