Stiles hated Beacon Hills.

It was at times like this that he hated being a city when he could very easily feel someone's ire, like a heavy coat, had been thrown on top of him and threatened to take him down with it, sighing heavily he gave up the ghost and turned to Boyd.

"Seriously would you quit glaring at me, your paroxysm is very distracting", he huffed irritably, turning to Walker he hummed, "Can you hear anything from the werewolves in the maze?" he asked curiously.

"His what?" Cora asked baffled.

"Blood lust", Stiles answered absentmindedly.

"Is your brain a thesaurus?" she asked staring at him, "Did anyone else know what that meant?" she looked around the group, and even the people in the running for salutatorian shook their heads.

Stiles shrugged as everyone stared, "I read a lot", he answered simply, going back to Walker he hummed, "And so?" he asked curiously.

"No", he answered, "I think the instructors are keeping that in effect because they don't want their plans to come to fruition where the Carver pack is concerned", he informed Stiles, "In short I can't hear anything", he informed.
