Love And Hate (A SasuNaru Fanfic)

Chapter 3: Confessions

After classes he skillfully slipped away from his friends -with a suspicious Sakura eyeing him with a knowing grin- he meets up with Sasuke outside the gate and they walk to their houses that were in the same direction and just a road away from one another.

"since its just for a week, can't we walk to school together too?", Sasuke was being greedy, very greedy, he knew it but he couldn't help it - he was so happy!

"you're pushing it.. What's so fun about this anyway?", Naruto just doesn't get what that guy is thinking, not that he really wanted to know. (A/N: it's denail XD)

"well, i just really like being with you", this took more courage out of him to say it than he thought it would. Damn, his heart was going crazy wild.

Naruto stops in his tracks, he really didn't wanna believe this teme, he hates him so much, it's weird for him to like someone who hates him!! He's probably just messing with him again, so annoying... He was really so pissed, "....you're kidding.. You really want me to believe that? Are you just teasing me? Ah, right, guess you love being with me cause it's so much fun to mess with me!"

Sasuke should have expected this reaction, of course he wouldn't believe it, it's true that he does tease him too much.. But to have his feelings doubted so bluntly.. Even though he had it coming, it still stung a little...

"i wouldn't go as far as to lose my temper over someone i just like to mess around with", he put on his poker face to avoid looking like a heartbroken mess in front of his love, but his eyes seems to have betrayed him a bit by being just a teeny tiiiiny bit glossy.

It was his usual emotionalless face but why did Naruto feel like he looked about ready to cry? Moreover, he really did look too pissed during that lunch incident, and really worried.. He hated it.. Now, he has no choice but to believe it.. 'stupid teme.. Is so unfair'

"..sorry.. That was rude of me.. But you only ever teased me so far, so you can't really blame me", Naruto looked away, bashful.

Sasuke couldn't help but feel like he's falling all over again for Naruto, he loves him so much, and every bit of him, even the way he's so rude only to Sasuke, but it's quite troublesome as it does hurt him sometimes, love is such a mess.

"that's true, i really did, but that's cause i love your reactions, i think it's really cute, how red your cheeks get upto the tip of your ears", he smiles gently, dazedly touching the tip of his rose colored ear.

Naruto blushes red, so not wanting to admit the undeniable fact that his heart feels like its about to burst, "i hate you, dambass", but Sasuke's eyes that looked directly into his, made him feel so damn loved - though he'd never admit it.

"well, that can't be helped, but please do believe me when i say that i love you", he smiles happily to have been able to finally say that he loves him and he even got to see such a cute side of his Naruto - wah,  so dangerous - he could really jump him.

Naruto couldn't believe his ears. Sasuke actually told that he loves him...Gritting his teeth and blushing more, "well, i don't care! I still hate you!"

"hn, i love you", he smirked, his hand that was gently touching Naruto's ear now placed on his cheek.

"i hate you.. I really do.. From the bottom of my heart!", he placed his hand on Sasuke's, wanting to slap it away but when he touches him, he kinda just let's it be - his heart being way too loud in his chest, must have distracted him - it's really not Naruto's fault, he really does hate him, but... It's all the teme's fault for having such a gentle smile and being so damn happy over stupid things so easily.. And most of all.. For having.. Touched him so softly.. It's all his fault.. So he really does hate him so much for making him feel so weird.

"and i love you from the bottom of my heart", he grins happily. His heart beating as fast as humanly possible.

They walk home with Naruto blushing all the while and Sasuke smiling gently throughout.
