POV. Meredith
During lunch, i go to the table where my interns were sitting.
Hello everyone. Like you all know the attendings have to choose one intern for their first solo surgery. Dr.Kepner your scrubbing in.

She look at me terrified and nod yes with her head. I laugh interly. Gosh i love scaring my interns with my medusa look. I walk away to go find my friends.

POV. Derek
It was lunch time when i see Meredith talking to a interns table. I automatically think about the solo surgery and how she loves scaring them with that. She joined us after a few minutes.
So did you scare them?
Oh yeah she sais with a smile
Hey its my job to scare these morons Cristina said
Euh no its me Alex replied
Okay now you look like interns Mark said
We all started to laugh.

After the surgery

POV. Meredith
Not a bad job for a intern dr.Kepner
Thank you dr.Grey she sais shyly

In the intercom

This is chief Webber. We need all the attendings and their interns at the conference room right know thank you. All the residents are gonna handle your patients and surgeries.

POV. Derek
We all look at each other confused and go the the conference room. The attendings sit down in the chairs of the table. The interns were standing along the wall. There was no place for the rest of the attendings so i sit on a piece of furniture. I see Meredith coming and I made a sign for her to join me. She sit on my lap and play with my hands nervously. She do that when she don't know what is going on. A intern with red hair was looking at us shyly. Her friend nudge her with her elbow and she direct her eyes on the chief. Richard began to speak up.
Thank you for coming everyone. I just wanted to say that a prisoner is coming here for a medical treatment. Don't panic everything is gonna be fine. He's gonna leave in a few days if everything is going well. So interns, sometimes you have to deal with this if you are a surgeon. Okay thats it i gonna page the attendings i'm gonna need for the treatment soon.
