Mason's POV

After we learned the secret weakness of the revived, we were able to deal with them alot faster. I just admit I was becoming a bit tired. A small drawback to using these amulets is that they sap a small amount of your stamina every 10-15 minutes. I could only guess that we've been here for well over an hour. Mabel seemed to be in a similar condition. I guess we just have to push through it. I was about the head towards another enemy until I was stopped by a wall of f/c. I looked around to see myself and Mabel encased in a ball of f/c.

"I want you to rest a while. I know what those gems do. Don't overwork yourself. You might collapse in the middle of a fight and...I'll lose you." I looked at y/n before letting out a sigh and following her instructions. In all honesty I wanted to take a break anyway and I know the same goes for my twin. Y/n stood In front of us as about 13 or so came towards us. This gave me the perfect opportunity to see just how much she's improved in her magic usage but Mabel seemed too tired to bother and decided to take a nap for the time being. They came bolting toward y/n but she only stared back, her eyes wildly moving from one to the other. At the last second, 26 thin beams of light impaled each (x) as they all froze and their souls were freed.

"Wow. Seeing so many at once really makes you stare in awe." Y/n nodded. "You rested enough to rejoin the battle?" I stood and gave my affirmation as the shield was dropped from being around me but remained with Mabel's still sleeping form. "Ok. I'll take the right and you'll go-" Her body suddenly froze in what seemed to be....terror? I couldn't understand why but if it was enough to cause this big a reaction in Her then it must be bad. "Y/n? Y/N! What's wrong?" I attempted to shake her out of her daze but I only seemed to be making it worse. She began hyperventilating before passing out and I couldn't help but panic.

"BILL. WILL. EITHER OF YOU GET OVER HERE. HURRY!!" I shouted as loudly as possibly. It took him a while but Bill came over. What is it Maso- Y/N!" He cut himself of as he took in her current state. "What the fuck happened to her? Run me through it." "I..I don't know. We were about to split up and she suddenly froze up. I tried to shake her out of it but she seemed like she couldn't breathe and passed out." Bill looked thoughtful. "Was she scared of something at the time to make her scared?" I nodded with a questioning look. "Do you know what's wrong with her?"

A look of pure anger and fury that could turn anyone to stone crossed his features. Honesty, though I was forcing myself to keep a calm exterior, I was scared shitless. The sheer volume of power coming off of him was terrifying. "That fucker is using magic on her. Goddamnit why didn't she have her mind protected. She knew what she was dealing with." "Hey relax. It was a mistake. Anyone could've made it."

"Yeah. A mistake. A mistake that can cost her her sanity. He's been able to collect the magic of basically every being in the Nightmare Realm. Therefore his own power is god knows how much. I don't even know what kind he used on her. Shit." "Can't you just go into her mind and erase whatever it was from there?" He quirked an eyebrow at me. "That's...not too bad an idea kid. And I'll just place a field around her body while I'm there." I nodded. "Good luck. And please bring her back safely. She's like my other sister." All he did was nod and then he was gone.

No one's POV

Bill slowly made his way through y/n's mind. The further he went in, the stronger the feeling of his body simultaneously being weighed down and pushed back became. He could see and feel the almost overwhelming darkness that lurked in every inch not leaving even a speck of light. Her mind's usually calm and joyful state was now depressing and melancholic. It was unnerving to say the least as it was the 1st time he'd experienced such a change within her. He knew he had to find her and he had to do so soon.

....was that...? He could've sworn he heard something. It was feint as though it didn't want to he heard or found. 'Could it be y/n?' But it didn't make much sense. Why would she want to not be found? Mason said she was afraid wasn't she? He shook the thoughts out of his head and continued onwards. "Well well well. If it isn't William Cipher. The gold one that is. What brings ya here?" A voice echoed through y/n's mind. It was familiar but he couldn't place a face or name to it. He was sure he'd met this person or creature sometime before. "Seems you've forgotten little ole me huh? And even after everything you put me through Cipher? That's sad." Whoever it was have a dry chuckle "But that's fine though because I'm getting my revenge. Nice mind your little girlfriend has here ain't it? It'd be...such a darn shame if something were to... happen to it."

"WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU? AND HOW DID YOU GET INTO HER MIND??" They laughed once more. "Who I am will be revealed in time so don't bother with that. As for how. Well I was given an offer. That offer stated that if I was able to distract the oh so mighty Bill, I'd remain with all of my magic. You know what that'd mean Billy Boy? Means that after mister Ţ out there I'd be the only one with magic and therefore become the second strongest being in the world." He let out a maniacal laugh and, from the sound of it, was inching closer. "Well I know why you're here. Can't really say I'm happy about it though." Bill warily looked around trying to catch even a glimpse of this person.

"You sure you're not gonna tell me who the hell you are? And why do you need revenge on me? I do a lot of shit to people so what'd I do to you?" A low growling echoed around him. "You really can't tell huh. Sounds just like you, you selfish little fuck. Well I'll just show you then." A figure approached, finally coming into the light revealing themself.
