Stacey was dropping to sleep but sat staring straight in front of her. "Stace?" Nothing. "Stacey. Bubba." I tapped her shoulder but nothing still. "Umm Joanne." I scrambled to the door and shouted her up. "Quick. Neil as well."
Staceys PoV
Flashback
I'm the back of a van tied up with a gag. The van stopped and the guy took me in this building and left me in an elevator shaft. A worker came up to me I tied me and carried me out. The dude who took me in the first place pressed a button in his hand smiled at me and ran. The building started toppling down and I saw my dad. He was falling out of the top window. "Dad!!" I tried running to catch him but Neil wrapped his arms round me and held me back. "Neil. Let go." "He's gone Stace. There's nothing we can do." "Neil. Let go. DAD!!" A police officer walked up to us and showed us a licence and I dropped to the floor.
Kevs PoV
"Stacey?" Tears started forming in her eyes. She broke down and I slowly walked up to her and Joanne nodded. Neil just stood shocked. "Stace?" She looked at me and I gave her a hug and she cried into my shoulder but pulled away and looked straight at neil. "You." "Me what. Stacey what's wrong?" "I could have saved him. We could have helped but you stopped me. I could have caught him. We could still have parents." She stood up and tried to run at him but I threw her over my shoulder. "Not so fast bubba. No more deaths. No no no. What you on about?" "He's a monster. He's planned it all from the start. Kill them off and then he gets the inheritance. Not happening I know your plan." Joanne led neil out and stacey just broke down again. "Shh shh. It's ok. It's ok." I hugged her and she just cried into my shoulder. I sat her back down on the bed and she cuddled into me. "Why?" "Why what baby." "Why do you help me. Why aren't you at your dance lessons or whatever you said you did." "Because I'd rather look after you than go to dance. Tbh I'd kinda stopped going a bit when jo left because we used to dance together. I love you and I'd give everything up for you." She smiled at me. "Love you more." Her lips brushed mine and I smiled. "I don't know what I'd do without you. You've changed me Stace. For the better."
