Kevins PoV
A couple of days had gone and Joanne came running into Staceys bedroom. "What have you done. Is neil annoying you." "Are you annoying him?" "What no. So remember that house that we all liked." "Yes." "Well I put the deposit down on it and they've said yes kevinnnn. Stacceyyyyyy. They said we can have the house." We all jumped up and started running around like absolute crazy people. Neil came in and smiled. "Have you told them?" She nodded and he chuckled. "Right I've told him that it's us four moving in and he says as long as we all sign the contract it's no problem. So you all need to come with me down to the sales office or whatever it is and then we can move in next week." "Right. So when do we have to go down." "He said some time today so."

We were all sat together in the living room and had all finished unpacking. "My god this place is amazing." "I know. It's in a good part of town as well." "Stacey I've got an email from the place in town. They've said you've got the job." "Yes Stace." "Well done gorgeous." I gave her a kiss and the other two pulled faces. "Oh shut up." "You know what boys. I think we should get a job in town or something as well because we will make more doing that than at a competition. And besides you only get paid if you win." "Ye true." We all agreed that we would get a job in town or in a restaurant and obviously Neil got one at McDonald's. "Neil you didn't even have to go for an interview." "Must be the ginger hair." We all laughed and I got a job at an office and Joanne at a boots in town. "Kevin. Why the hell have you gone into office. You can't sit still for five minutes." "I know but it was the most money so oh well. And the hours weren't that long neither." "How the hell did you get an office job when you are sixteen." "That the legal age isn't it. She excused herself and I followed her. She sat on the bed and pulled something out of her bag and just held it in her hands. "Stace?" She fumbled with it and put it back and looked at me. "Yeah?" "What's wrong. Was it the car thing?" She nodded and I gave her a hug. "I'm gonna have to get in one at one point because what if I am a journalist. I'll have to travel half way across the world at times." "Yeah but that's in the air." "Kevin. That makes it ten times worse." "Well. I have an idea. How about after Christmas and everything. How about for your birthday me and you go to Portugal for a long weekend. Just us." "Are you sure." "Yeah. I'll be there." She nodded and after a couple of minutes of just talking about it she brightened up a bit. "Stace what was that that you had in your hands when I first came up." "If I show you you can't tell neil or anyone ok?" I nodded. It was her dads license and wallet and everything. "What's bad about that." "Because when my dad first died the officer gave us this and then me and neil argues over who was going to get it so my mum told me to take the stuff out of it and give it to a charity shop. I took the credit cards out and gave them to mum and all the money in it but I kept the licenses and the wallet and the family picture in it. That was taken a week before he died."
