Chapter 16

One month after your group arrived at Alexandria

I woke up to carl softly snoring in my ear. 'Why is he so fricking cute!' I screamed in my head. I grinned and reached my finger up to his name. "Boop," I booped his nose. His eyes fluttered open and I saw his pretty crystal blue eyes. I love waking up and the first thing I see in the morning is his eyes. "Did you boop me?" he smiled. "Yessir" I give him a wide smile then kissed him. "Why do you always wake me up with cute gestures." He whispered and pulled me closers to him. "Cause a cute boy needs to wake up in a cute way," I whispered back. His face flushed a tint of red. I sat and sat on his lower stomach. "Now you know how I felt when I first met you." I kissed his cheek and hopped off him and walked over to my dresser. "You felt the way when you met me?" He said as he sat up. "You are clueless, are you?" I said as I grabbed out a pair of blue skinny jeans that had a rip on the left knee, and the upper right thigh. "Hey! I'm not good at reading girl's emotions, I'm only 17." He said getting up. "I can tell your emotions and I'm 15 so eat that," I said as I pulled out a black short sleeve shirt. (i made you older so your two, not three years younger then carl.) "Well I'm a dude, I'm not complicated." He said grabbing his clothes as well. "Oh! So now I'm complicated." I said as I replaced my pj's with my new outfit. "I- uh n-no?" Carl said as he realized he chose the wrong words. "I guess ill be complicated by MYSELF tonight," I said as I smirk while I put on my boots. "I- uh w-w-w." Carl studdered. "See you down at breakfast." I chirped and ran out the door and down the stairs, leaving carl in confusion. 

I started heading towards the building were they held school. I felt a tap oh my shoulder. I completely freaked and grabbed the person by the arm and drag them to the ground, I saw Rob under me. "Oh shit, sorry about that. I guess I'm not out of that survival mode." I said as I stuck my hand out. "It's okay I should have called your name first," he said as he smiled and grabbed my hand.  I helped him on his feet. I met Rob about a week after I arrived here, I went to one of those little 'Partys' the teenagers held in the empty houses. I let carl run off and play video games. So I had no one to talk to, but rob walked up to me at the beginning and Rob and I got along pretty well. 

We were about halfway to school when I saw some people at the front gate. I turned toward the gate. "What are you doing?" Rob asked. "There's a group of people over at the gate. I wanna know what's happening." I said and started to walk over there. "I think its the team that makes supply runs, there back early. Something must have happened." Rod said as he trailed behind me. "let's find out" I said as we reached the gate. Deanna, Her husband, the supply team, Michonne, Rick, Daryl, Maggie, and Glenn. "Hey, What's up?" I asked as I came up to them. "We got to our final stop and there's only one way to get in that's not covered by rubble but its a locked armored door." This man said. "There's no windows?" Deanna said. "Like I said covered by rubble." The man said. "okay well do we really need what's in there?" Maggie said. "Yes, it has medical supplies." A woman spoke up. "Can't we find another store?" Rick said. "All the other ones are picked through already." The man said. "Well, then how are we gonna get into the store?" Glenn said. "Well, there's a small vent on the roof that leads into the building. But there's no way any of us could fit." The man spoke up. "I'll go," I said. "No your not going," Daryl spoke up. "But they need help," I said. "Then someone else is gonna have to do it." He said and crossed his arms as he won. "Daryl I'm the only person small enough to fit, except a young kid. And it'll be too dangerous for them." I said as I crossed my arms back. "It's too dangerous for you!" He shouted back. "It's okay we can always find another way-" I cut off the man. "No, this is the easiest way to get in there, so ill go," I said. "The hell you will. Your staying here were it's safe." Daryl said and turned me to face him. "I survived on my own for a couple of months when I was like 10!" I was starting to get pissed off. "Yeah and we found you half dead!" Daryl shouted at me. "Y/n-" I cut off michonne. "You're not my fucking dad!" I shouted as I pointed a finger at Daryl. I could feel my eyes start to tear up but I kept them down. "You will never be my dad so stop fucking acting like it. He died along time ago!" I felt spit come out of my mouth cause I was yelling so loud. I'm furious. "Fine! See if I fucking care if you come back or not!" Daryl got in my face. He turned and started walking away. "Daryl" Glenn shouted to him. "You gonna be eating those words if I don't come back!" I shouted back. It was silent, what the fuck just happened. My mind was racing, I was pissed at him for saying I couldn't go, but I was sad that he didn't care if I died while I was on the run. "Hey, he didn't mean that," Michonne said as she put her hand on my shoulder. "No, he did," I said and pushed away from her. "Tell Carl ill be back soon," I said as I turned around and left through the gate with the supply team. 

"Are you sure you want to go?" The man said as I and him got into a car. "Yeah," I said as I looked down at my knife. "You good? I know its none of my business since I just met you, but that was harsh." He said as he started the car. "Yeah, I heard worst. I'm y/n btw." I said looking up at him. "Heath" He smiled back at me. 

To the building and rubble was everywhere. It looked like a building next to it fell and covered that one with rubble. I could see where they cleared out the spot on the roof where the vent is. "Okay, the plan is you'll go through the vent and unlock the armored door in the back," Heath said as he pointed up at the vent. "Alrighty. Easy peasy." I said as we both got out of the car. "We don't know if there are walkers in there so be careful," Heath said as we walked over to a ladder. "Yeah, yeah, ill be fine," I said as I climbed the ladder. I looked down into the vent. this is a small space, hopefully I don't get stuck. I slide down into the vent and hit the bottom of it and it made a hollow bang sound. Well hopefully there are no walkers in here, or they differently know I'm here. I crawled through the vent and I started to smell something absolutely awful. I kept going cause it could have been rotting food in the store. I found a hole were the vent fell out and jumped down. The smell was still pretty strong but I ignored it and made my way through the shelves of food and medical supplies to the back.

I unlocked the door and heath and his friends came through. "What the hell is that smell heath said as he covered his nose. "I don't know, but I don't know if walkers are in here so we should do this fast." I whispered. "yeah." He said as we all split up to grad as much as we could. 

we were about done when one of heaths guys opened up a door and walkers poured out. He got bit and everyone was panicking. "Everyone! to the car!" Heath yelled. I was on the other side of the store and there were over a dozen walkers in between me and the exit. "Go! Ill met you guys down by the intersection two miles west from here!" I yelled to heath. "No!" He yelled back. "Just fucking go! I'll be fine!" I yelled back as I shoved a walker away. Heath left without saying another word. "What did you get yourself into this time Y/N," I said aloud.

Ok, so I was about to snap my computer in half cause I felt my Wattpad tab while I was writing to change my music and when I came back in I only had 240 words when I wrote 1230. I was so pissed but then I reloaded it and it all came back. So it's all good. But for real think, I had a minor heart attack. Also, this is the longest chapter I have ever written, 1595!! I'm shooting for 2000 next chapter tho.
