Tj P.O.V.
I decided to go see my daddy. My mama didn't like him, so I had to visit I'm sometime.
I skipeed school. I didn't tell anybody. They're probably worried, but they'll understand.
I rode my bike over there. It was around 10:00 when I started coming. It took 30 minutes. I was hiding out in my neighbors backyard, till Ten so nobody saw me.
I set my bike inside the gate and walked up the steps.
I rang the door and a girl answered. It was my sister Tessa. She embraced me in a hug.
"Tj, its been too long!"
"I know." She let me go.
"Why you not in school?"
"I could ask you the same."
"I'm sick you might have the Flu when you leave." I mugged her. She looked terrible.
"Whatever is Daddy here?"
"Yea. DADDY GUESS WHO'S HERE?"
"WHO?" He yelled back.
I walked in the living room and his mouth dropped.
"Tj?"
I ran too him.
"I've missed you so much!"
"I've missed you too."
We let go.
"Well since your outta school you want me to take you out to eat and shop?"
"What about me?" Tessa asks in the background.
"I'll take you when you feel better." She smiled.
"Y'all better hurry before Tj mama come looking for Tj".
"Yeah we should go." He nodded his head. And we got up to leave. Then a little boy ran downstairs.
"Daddy, Daddy,wait!" He looked about 2yrs young.
"Um, Ta'jon this Tyran. Your brother."
I could feel my eyes getting big.
"I have a brother?! Come here!"
He ran to me and jumped in my arms.
"Tessa you feel better?" He asked squeezing my nose.
We laughed. "I'm not Tessa, I'm Ta'jon, one of your big sisters."
"Oo Sisi? You my Sisi?"
"Yess!"
"Yay! Tessa you can weave (leave) now!" We laughed again.
"He's coming with us?" I asked still holding him.
"Yeah, whatever you want." We walked towards the door,and I noticed I was smiling.
Why would my momma keep this from me? She says he's a bad person , but I don't see it. She'd rather live in the hood then live in a nice neighborhood. What's her problem????
