Around 6:45, I got Tessa and Tyran read and headed over to Brandy's. Tj was already over there,and I decided my kids should meet their soon-to-be-step-mama.
"Daddy,daddy where we going?" Tyran asked pulling on my shirt as we walked to the car.
"To Ta'jon mama house."
"Why, we gotta go?" Tessa asked annoyed.
"Tessa I wouldn't have an attitude with Brandy. She did a lot for you."
"What do you mean?" She asked really confused.
"Well I'm just gonna put it like this, she'll be happy to see you."
Afterwards I drove over too Brandy's and Tj let me and the kids in.
We all walked into the living room, and Brandy's mouth dropped.
"Tessa?" She asked still in awe.
"Yea, do.I know you?" Brandy's eyes got full of tears,and I walked over to her.
"Kids why don't y'all take a seat and let me speak to y'all."
They all took a seat except Tyran disobedient ass.
"So Tessa you know how I told you your mama and I had a sex once in high school?"
"Yea, and she left me on your porch and never came back."
"Yea, well that isn't the truth, Brandy is your mama. You were the first child, she had you and we both took care if you. Until."
"Until what ? This doesn't make sense?"
"Until Ta'jon was born. I guess she was fed up with me, didn't wanna be around me, hated my guts. She took Ta'jon first, left a letter and said she'll be back for you. When she came back, I wouldn't let her take you. I told her she couldn't have both of my daughters! She left and brought Tj over once and a while. Sometimes she would take you and leave Ta'jon. I wouldn't let her take both of you, if she did she wouldn't come back. When you were 9 and Tj was 8 she stopped all connections. She didn't want me to see Tj, and she tried hard to take you but that clearly didn't happen. That's why y'all look like twins."
Tessa looked like she'd seen a ghost.
"So she's been my mama the whole time?"
"Yess." She ran over to Brandy
"I'm so glad I know now."
"I am too." They hugged each other then let go.
"Tessa how bout you move in with mama, I'll stay where I'm at with daddy."
Tessa smiled "That coo with me." I smiled my big happy fucked up family.
