"You've followed Kang Moon Soo for years. You really are the best among us." the CEO told me.

"I won't really stop until we can guarantee his safety." I said, "To be quite honest my mother protected his father. I was trained to do this job when I was young. You know I am only the best because I have a family reputation to keep."

"He is safe now. Lim Si Woo is with him." he said.

"Oh don't get me started on having him be a bodyguard was the wrong move." I was annoyed. I was packing my things and was headed off to Korea. The past few days I had not known what happened with Kang Moon Soo and it was driving me insane. I have been watching him and guarding him since I was 15 years old. In all that time I had not once lost track of him. It was something I was proud of, but something that was hard to do at the same time. I am a year younger than him, so in reality I shouldn't have been allowed to be alone all this time, but the CEO made it possible.

"He is safe. At least we know where he is."

"I know him better than anyone and I know that he takes his work seriously. If a gun is pointed at that girl he would put himself in front of her." I said, "He has to stay alive Tae-Hyun. It really makes it hard knowing that you allowed him to take on the job."

"Hei Ran." he paused, "I just want you to know that I won't allow Cosmos to destroy us again. We have had too many losses."

"Agreed. I'll be there later today. Please keep him alive for the next five hours." he laughed.

"I will. Safe travels."

"On a scale of 1-10 how mad was she?" Woo Jin asked. He had been working on multiple things these past few days and it was the first time I had seen him take a break.

"You know Hei Ran." I said. We both looked at each other.

"11?"

"Yup."

"Well in all honesty she is the reason why he is safe. No matter what obstacles they faced she managed to push him through that."

"You're right. Have you heard any updates from the other protectors? Not Si Woo or Hyun Ki." I said.

"Bok Soo mentioned that Han Sol and him are doing their last 'mission' before coming back to Seoul." he said, "Plus Hak Kun mentioned he had an update. He'll be telling us in the meeting. Also, it has been two months since we have found the male ruby ring though Eun Kyung said that she believes that the ring will be given to another person soon."

"Why is that?"

"He isn't capable. Her words exactly."

"Who isn't capable?" Eun Nari walked into the break room, "Chin Mae mentioned that Yung Mi is still dating that Cosmos member."

"Why don't they break up? It's weird and honestly he isn't a good guy." Woo Jin said, annoyed.

"She doesn't know that." I said, "Chin Mae is the head prosecutor in charge of the case for the assault of Soo Ah."

"Yes and Yung Mi is defending the assaulter." Eun Nari said, "The judge in charge is none other than..."

"Cho Jung Hwa." I said, "Keep track of that. I'll be in my office." I walked out and left Eun Nari and Woo Jin in the break room. Everything is coming into place, but everything also just got so complicated. I didn't know where to start working, but tomorrow was a new day and also my day off. Hopefully everything will work out well.

I got home, but I had the weird feeling that someone was following me the whole way. I turned around and looked around the area, but I didn't see anyone. "Probably just imagining things Dong Suk." I said to myself. I turned around to put my code and once I opened the door I felt someone push me. I turned around and saw a man with a gun in his hand. He was wearing a black hoodie and dark jeans. "What are you doing?" I said to him. I tried standing up, but with his gun he hit my head. I became disoriented and when I touched the top of my head I felt blood. "Whoever you are, just tell me what you want." I said.
