"Are you sure you're hiring the right people." I got frustrated and looked away. "We almost had her are you sure you are capable of this job."
"Was I supposed to predict this? I didn't know that he would murder someone else."
"He was supposed to just kidnap her. What was the problem?"
"Calm down." Han Kang Dae said interrupting me and his step father. "Can you two ever solve anything without fighting?" he seemed annoyed.
"Calm down? What if that man says something to the police?" The doors opened and Cho Jung Hwa walked in.
"Don't worry. I am the assigned judge. I'll take care of it." he looked at me. "He is getting a lawyer though."
"Who? He admitted to being a hitman so what would a lawyer do." Song Chun Hei said.
"He will try to frame us." I said, "What else?'
"Who is the lawyer?"
"Choi Yung Mi. The prosecutor in charge is Cha Chin Mae." he said.
-----
"Choi Yung Mi. The prosecutor in charge is Cha Chin Mae." Jung Hwa mentioned. I closed my eyes. It is not hard to believe that she would take on the case. She always was someone who stood up for anyone and gave them the benefit of the doubt. It's what I loved about her, but why now? If she finds out I am a part of this group I can already imagine what she would do.
"What's wrong with you?" my step father asked me."Nothing that you'd care about." I stood up and buttoned my jacket. "If you are all going to keep fighting and arguing I'll just be on my way." I said. I began walking out and they all stared at me.
"Where are you going?"
"Don't worry about it. If it is something crucial call me. I'll be back once your arguing ends." I turned and bowed and walked out of the room. I walked towards my office to grab a few of my things. I grabbed my suitcase, my car keys and some papers to go through tonight.
"Kang Dae." I recognized the voice, Kim Yong-Sun. I put everything down and turned around.
"Director Kim." I bowed, "Is there something you need?" I don't remember when it exactly happened, but he began to trust more and eventually I became his second hand and co-leader of Cosmos. I looked at him, but he remained silent. Kim Yong-Sun was a scary individual. Almost as scary as my step father. He was ruthless and even ordered the death of his daughter.
-A couple of years back-
"Kang Dae. I need you to do something for me." he said.
"I got your granddaughter. Isn't that enough?" I said to him. It was a real struggle kidnapping his granddaughter. "We just came back. They should be finding out that their daughter is missing just about now."
"My daughter will. Who knows where my son in law went. They split up." he said angrily. "Go for my daughters ring." he said, raising his voice. "Now!"
"But. What do I do about your daughter?"
"Oh that. Just kill her." I stood in silence. "Is there a problem?"
"None." I said. I walked out of his office and went into mine. I closed the door behind me and fell to the floor. "Kill someone?" I whispered to myself. My breathing was staggered and my thoughts weren't straight. I remembered my abusive stepfather and remembered the pain I was in. "I swore I wouldn't become like him." I took a deep breath and stood up. My office door behind me opened and my step father walked in.
