Among the group of people sitting in the train was a young looking girl. Men from all over stared at her in awe, her long silver hair more alluring than that of a normal girl's hair. Her skin was well cared for and very fine. Her green eyes pierced through anyone who dared looked her way in a seductive way. Her full lips smiled softly with the pink tint of color on her cheeks. She was truly beautiful, but quite pale as well. She didn't look sickly pale, just pale. She wore an unethical long sleeved, black shirt that showed off her stomach, with long classy black pants. She was very noticeable by the locals, which many of them knew her by the name of Eri, and always surrounded her when she came by.
Eri sat on the train while minding her own business. The conductor came around and punched holes into the tickets, and she obliged their every command. She didn't like standing out or causing trouble, not unless she was with someone special, but the last person she cared for died. She looked out the window uninterested, she just wanted to leave the station already. Eri found it fun to travel the world, and didn't lay a hand on humans no matter the situation. She could be found saving them, usually, and many people knew her around her home town. They called her the guardian angel, because she always seemed to show up at the right time.
She jolted up from her seat suddenly, and smelled the air. It was another demon for sure. She hadn't even realized the train had started moving, much less that everyone was asleep. It was strange, in all her years of the train existing, never had she seen the entire car full of sleeping people. At least one person would be awake. She ran into another car and saw the same sight. She went through a few before noticing a group of four particular people who stood out. They each had swords on them, and their uniform gave them away. They were demon slayers. She sighed in relief almost forgetting she was a demon. It didn't matter to her, though. She almost never ran from other humans, even if they were to curse or try to kill her. She wanted to die, she saw no point in living an eternity by yourself, it was useless and lonely. She investigated the area because she knew they wouldn't just be there because they felt like it, they were always busy. She realized ropes were connecting the slayers with other humans, and she looked horrified. She knew exactly who it was behind this.
Eri was startled out of her thoughts by the tall blonde man standing up and picking a girl up by the throat. She stood up and noticed the man was still sleeping. She admired him, even though he would probably kill her given the chance. Beside the girl he was choking was a box, and Eri noted the scratching. Then, out of nowhere, a small demon girl pops out and walks over to the boy on the seat. Eri gave a confused look as the girl tried to wake the boy up. Why she tried to do it with headbutting was up for debate. Eri watched the demon girl burn the ropes and she looked at her. "Don't worry, I'm not the one who did this. My name is Eri, by the way." She introduced cheerfully. By the mumble jumble the boy was making, she could tell he was going to wake up, and sure enough he jumped up. It startled Eri, so she flinched but didn't act threatened.
"I'm awake!" He said happily. "Did you do this, Nezuko?" He gave the demon a pat on her head affectionately. His eyes shifted to look at Eri, and was immediately on guard.
"Don't worry, I'm not the one behind any of this. However, I would advise you not to cut the ropes with your sword. Have the demon burn it like she did yours." Eri explained hoping to see her demon technique in action again. The boy looked suspicious of Eri, and she raised her hands in surrender, "If it makes you feel better I'll let you tie me up and kill me, right now. I'm just trying to help you and your friends along with the other sleeping passengers. Oh, and him. Who's he? He was able to move in that dream state, so that means his body could sense the girl even though she gave off no bloodlust." Eri pointed to the standing man.
"That's Rengoku Kyojuro, the flame pillar." The boy let his guard down picking up his sword. "If you're helping us, I'm not going to kill you, but let me ask. Have you ever devoured someone?" Eri shook her head. She hadn't devoured a single person, so she didn't lie to him.
