The next morning at Nathaniel's cottage, Becky woke up on her bed with puffy eyes to find Dean sitting on the floor keeping an eye on her. She rolled onto her side and looked at him for a moment.
"I'm scared, Dean." Becky told him quietly.
Dean felt that familiar ache in his heat as he observed the concern fear her face.
"No one in this village knows what it's like to go through all the hell you've gone through, Rebecca. After everything you've lost and everything you've seen and experienced.. you're still standin'. You ain't got nothin to be afraid of.. especially when you got me watchin your back." Dean told her.
Becky let out a slight smile to Dean. Outside birds chips in the morning sky as the sun rose throughout the village. It wasn't until a knock came at the door of the cottage that Becky crawled out of her bed. Dean stood up ready to fight whoever was the door.
"Calm down, boy." Becky said as she cracked open her door and looked out to the living room where Nathaniel had open the door. Outside stood Lilly and James Reigns. Behind them was Sasha and Roman standing hand in hand.
"What's going on?" Nathaniel asked.
"We'd like a blessing for the union of my son and the beautiful love of his life." James told Nathaniel.
Nate looked at them in confusion for a moment as he scratched the back of his head.
"Um.. okay then." Nathaniel began to say.
He took a deep breath and straightened his posture.
"You uh.. this marriage um.. has my blessing. You have my blessing." Nathaniel said with an unsure smile on his face.
James and Lilly looked at each other in confusion while Roman and Sasha seemed rather unimpressed.
"Are we done here?" Roman asked.
"I don't want the blessing of Nathaniel Brooks! I would like the blessing of the young woman in there." James said as he peaked over Nate's shoulder and saw Becky.
Nathaniel looked back at Becky in confusion. Dean closed his eyes in frustration at the situation.
"Whatever you do, don't go out there." Dean told her.
Becky walked out of her room, ignoring Dean's comment.
"You've gotta be kidding me." Dean mumbled to himself.
As Becky walked slowly towards the front door, Dean reluctantly walked out behind her. Nathaniel stared a hole through Dean, not liking the fact that George Hendricks was in his cottage not to mention to that he'd just come out of Becky's bedroom.
"Queen Rebecca." James greeted her with a smile on her face.
Becky just stood their awkwardly, not knowing what to say. Finn walked out of his room and took notice of the situation.
"Back up." Dean told everyone as he stood in front of Becky.
Finn stood next to Nathaniel and looked on in confusion.
James, Lilly, Roman and Sasha all followed Dean's orders and distanced themselves from Becky.
"Am I dreaming right now?" Finn whispered to his father.
"It's more like a nightmare." Nathaniel told him.
Becky saw the way James and Lilly were looking at her and she couldn't help but feel important. Roman and Sasha seemed to be as curious to the situation as Finn and Nate.
"The Administration has ordered this marriage but as loyalists to the Founding Administration we see it as our duty to have the blessing of the rightful queen before the union of these two young lovers." Lilly told Becky.
