You weren't sure what to do on Yondu's main ravager ship. It felt too quiet with the crew culled.

Peter's friends seemed to move about freely. A second home. You'd have to keep your qualms about it.

Maybe you could build a new crew. Renew this branch of the Ravager legacy. This place needed people to look after it. You certainly couldn't. Not by yourself.

Unless you left the ship with these "guardians".

You tried not to be annoyed that Draxx still followed you. You didn't want to offend Quill by killing the alien, you opted to feign ignorance.

You entered into the spacious cockpit. The glassy windshield showed the stars glittering far away. You moved toward the sound of metal shifting, finding Rocket sitting on the floor. He didn't seem to notice you.

He was surrounded by parts and tools. The large gizmo, almost his size, hissed dangerously in front of him.

"Ah, man." He muttered. "I thought I tightened that valve."

An alarm chimed on your wrist band, perking Rockets ears.

"What's that?"

"It detects cloaked ships."

"There's a cloaked ship near us?"

You nodded. He seemed perplexed you'd be so calm. It kept him calm.

"It's another bounty hunter." You said.

He nodded. It was your turn to be perplexed.  He wasn't listening to you, his beady eyes trained on your wrist.

Quill came running in.

"That thing you gave me is screaming!"

You moved to the panicked human while he tried to pry off the matching band at the main bench.

You explained the situation to him and received the appropriate response.

"Bounty hunters!?" He spluttered.

"They're Yondu's other Earth kids. Most of us that survived became bounty hunters."

"He had other kids?"

Yondu told you all of this. The first day he took you in, he sat you on a slimy chest in the hold and showed you pictures of the bounty hunters.

"He said he was offering me a way of life off planet."

"Yeah, well, he fucking stole me."

"What? Did you ask to be taken?" Rocket's voice was so full of sarcasm.

"I did." You said.

"No fucking way."

"The world looked like it was going to end. If not by aliens, then by multi corporates. I was a stressed kid, watching my future burn. Would you have seriously stayed?"

"Yes." Quill said. His voice faltered. "No. I don't know... why didnt he tell me? I thought we were the only ones."

"He liked training me." You shrugged. "He must of had his reasons for not telling you. Maybe he wanted to keep you a ravager."

He gave up trying to remove the gently beeping band, allowing you to turn it off. The sound of machinery in the cockpit was the only thing saving the room from complete silence.

"Do you want to meet them?"

He had been staring at the floor, lost in his head for a moment before nodding.
