"So are you and Taehyung just friends?" Jungkook leaned against Jimin's doorframe, eyeing him up and down. Jimin was sitting in the middle of his bed wearing a long t-shirt that was too big for his tiny frame while doing his homework, which Jungkook found to be very sexy.
"Y-yeah, we are." Jimin kept his focus on his books while talking with Jungkook. He couldn't look at Jungkook; especially when he was standing by his door without a shirt on, it was very distracting for him. After the warning he got from Yoongi, he tried to avoid Jungkook as best as he could, but it was hard, the guy was everywhere, and he was very distracting.
"Then why did he say you are soulmates?" Jimin felt the bed sink and looked up to see Jungkook sitting on it. He swallowed hard and looked back down at his book.
"W-we are soulmates."
"So, you are not just friends?"
"We are soulmates who are just friends; you know your soulmate doesn't have to be someone you are in a relationship with, right?" Jimin looked up at Jungkook, making eye contact with him.
Jungkook laid down on Jimin's bed and looked at him, getting a good look at his thighs, "really, I had no clue, tell me more."
"Are you being serious or sarcastic?" Jimin looks at Jungkook with doubt. His heart was also racing from Jungkook lying on his bed.
"I am serious; I would never be sarcastic with you. Now, explain to me how soulmates work?"
Jimin blushed and covered his legs with his blanket more as he saw Jungkook's eyes roaming over them. Jungkook frowned but didn't say anything.
"Well, soulmates-"
"Get out!" Yoongi grabbed Jungkook by his arm and pushed him towards the door, surprising Jimin, who looked at Yoongi in fright?
"We were talking!" Jungkook whined.
"Right, you were talking your way to something alright, go to your room. I will come to talk to you in a second." Jungkook didn't argue with his brother but walked away with a smirk on his face. Of course, he should've known his brother was going to cockblock his every move.
"Why was he in here, and why was he on your bed?" Yoongi asked Jimin sternly, making Jimin almost cry.
"H-he came in here; I didn't tell him to lay there."
"Did I not warn you about him? I don't want to see Jungkook ever in your room, and if he is in your room, this door must remain open at all times, do you understand? Your brother has worked his ass off to make you be the best you can be, and I refuse for that pervert to mess with your mind. You are smart, stay focus, and don't be fooled by him. You want a boyfriend, date Taehyung, he seems alright, and he is your age! Jungkook is in college-"
"What's going on here?" Jin questions as he walks into Jimin room; he could tell based on the look on Jimin's face that he was about to cry. "Yoongi, what's going on?"
"He is yelling at me," Jimin responded and started crying.
"You are doing what?" Jin turns to Yoongi, furious.
"Babe, no, that's not it, listen-"
"Get out of his room! How dare you yell at my baby brother? Have you lost your damn mind, do you think I moved in with you so you can mistreat him?"
"Jin, can we talk privately because that's not what I am doing. Jimin, tell your brother why I am talking to you, and if it seemed like I am yelling at you, I am sorry. I just want to protect you from Jungkook." Yoongi was trying his best to keep his cool. He and Jin had just gotten into an argument about getting married, and he didn't want to get into another one, especially when Jin was a flight risk.
"I- wanna go back home." Jimin cried out.
"Yoongi, please leave so I can talk to Jimin and find out what's going on. Because if he is not happy here, we are leaving!" Jin glared at Yoongi and walked over to his brother, sitting on the bed and pulled Jimin towards him. "What's wrong, Minnie?" It was easy for Jimin to cry, especially if something was too much for him, and Jin knew Yoongi could be too much.
Yoongi looked at them in disbelief and storms out of the room and to his brother's room. Jungkook was lying on his bed, texting the guy he had met earlier on campus when his door kicked open.
"You are going to fix this!" Yoongi yells at him.
"Fix what? What did I do now?" Jungkook sat upon his bed, looking at his brother, confused.
"Because you are not listening to me about Jimin, now there is a big misunderstanding and Jin is threatening me to leave, if you don't fix this right now, I will send you to mom and dad!"
Jungkook saw the look in Yoongi's eyes and knew he was serious, and there was no fucking way he could live with his parents. They would have him go crazy. "Fine, fine, I will fix it. Shit, I wonder what Jin fed you to make you like this, what happened to "I ain't never settling down-" Jungkook stopped talking when Yoongi pulled out his phone.
"Okay, I am going, geesh, it's not that serious. I'll fix it. Jin won't go anywhere, you punk."
******
Jin was sitting with Jimin, who he had spoken to and reassured that if he was uncomfortable, they could move back home. Jimin explained to Jin that he might have overreacted, he just not used to Yoongi's personality and his sternness.
"J-Jin c-can I t-talk t-to y-you." both Jin and Jimin looked up in surprise to see Jungkook by the door crying.
"Jungkook, what's wrong?" Jin asked in worry. Jimin sat up and looked at Jungkook, immediately feeling a tug at his heart. It bothered him to see Jungkook crying.
"I- messed up, can I talk to you in private, please? I-if you can't I understand, I will go-"
"No, please don't do that. We can talk, just give me a moment." Jin got off Jimin's bed, "you good Jimin?"
"I am, go talk to him please," Jimin reassured Jin and pushed him towards Jungkook.
Jin smiled at his brother, kissed him on the cheek, and left the room with Jungkook. He followed Jungkook to one of the outside balcony facing the outdoor pool.
"Jungkook, what's wrong?" Jin asked as soon as they sat down.
"I-it's a lot." Jungkook wiped his tears and looked down at his feet.
"It's okay; I am here to listen, tell me everything."
"These past few weeks have been the happiest time of my life. I am so happy to have you and Jimin here. I don't have a lot of friends, and my parents are never around. I didn't get a lot of home-cooked meals until you arrived. Yoongi is always out and about. I don't have anyone to help me with my homework. I am failing chemistry, and my parents are going to be disappointed in me. Yoongi now has you, so he probably won't care about me anymore. But then he said you are leaving, but I don't want you to leave. You have made me so happy in such a short time. I feel like I have a parent around with you here. You cook for me, you tell me to clean my room, and you ask me about school and if I wash my hair. No one else does that for me, and I think you are going to leave me now."
Jin got out of his seat and kneeled in front of Jungkook, holding his hands, "Oh, sweetie, don't cry. I am not leaving, Jimin and Yoongi had a misunderstanding, but Jimin explained things to me. And don't you worry, I won't ever leave you. My gosh, I didn't even know you liked having me here. I thought you saw me as a bother every time I told you to wash your hair. Y-you are going to make me cry now."
Jin hugged Jungkook as if he was his brother and allowed him to cry. He gave him some reassuring words and promised he would help him with chemistry.
******
Yoongi looked at Jungkook in disbelief, he had heard the entire conversation between him and Jin, and now that Jin had returned to his room, he had to talk to Jungkook.
"You are good at lying. I don't know if I should be proud or worried."
"I didn't lie," Jungkook mumbled and walked away from Yoongi.
Yoongi pulled him back, "what do you mean, that's all true?"
"I like Jin hyung; he cares about me." Jungkook shrugged and walked off.
