"I have never been on a boat like this before," Jin says to Yoongi while being wrapped in his embrace, enjoying the beautiful sunset. His heart was beating fast as even though he knew of the proposal, it was still making him nervous.
Yoongi had prepared a beautiful evening for the two of them, they had dinner at one of the most elite restaurants he had ever been to, and then they go on the boat they were now on. As the sun began setting, he knew the moment of the evening was coming. He wasn't sure how Yoongi was going to ask him when it came to Yoongi things were always uncertain with him; he didn't appear as someone who would get down on one knee and propose.
Even though it would be something romantic for Jin, he didn't mind whichever way he did; he was just happy to know that the man he had fallen for had an interest in committing to him for the rest of his life. A man who so man other people around him wanted was choosing him, and not only was he choosing him, but he loved him, genuinely loved him. He might not have the best way of expressing, but Jin knew he did. He felt it with every single action of his, and for him, he preferably wanted someone who was expressive by their actions, rather than words.
"The sunset is beautiful, isn't it?" Yoongi spoke, rubbing his hand against Jin's stomach. "It is, you know how much I love the sunset, there is nothing more beautiful," Jin whispered and began bitting on his lip in nervousness, he wasn't sure if his heart could handle the suspense of when Yoongi would propose to him.
Turning Jin around, Yoongi pressed his lips to his, "I disagree with that because no matter how beautiful the sunset is, it can never compare to you."
Jin's eyes widen at Yoongi's words, something he was not expecting, his mind began racing, he knew the moment had come, as Yoongi pulled away, he braced himself, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath.
"Do you want something to drink before the boat turns back around?" Yoongi surprises Jin by asking.
"What?" Jin felt like a fool as he opens his eyes and looks at Yoongi.
"I asked if you want something to drink, the boat is turning around to head back now."
Jin frowned and then glared at Yoongi, "no, I am good." he folds his arms across his chest and pushes past Yoongi.
Yoongi looked towards Jin, confused, "babe, are you okay?"
"Leave me alone, go drown with the sharks!" he snaps back at Yoongi.

"Seokjin, are you okay? Did you not enjoy our date?" As they headed home in a limo, Yoongi tried to understand why Seokjin was upset with him. There had been a shift in his mood; it had to be because of his pregnancy, as there could not be any other reason.
Jin glanced at Yoongi before looking towards the window, "I am fine."
"Usually, when you say you are fine, you are not." Yoongi lets out, earning a glare from Jin.
"What do you care if I am fine or not? It's not like you give a damn about me. I am just a toy anyway right; you are only keeping me around because I am pregnant, aren't you?"
Yoongi scoots back in his seat and scratches his head, "are you hungry by chance?"
Before Jin could answer, the car came to a stop in front of their home, and the driver opened the door for him.
"You are sleeping on the couch tonight!" Jin yells at Yoongi before he got out of the limo and storms towards the house, making Yoongi chuckled as he shook his head.
"I guess I will be getting a yes after all."
As Jin pushes the front door open with tears in his eyes, feeling sad and disappointed in himself for having hope that something magical was going to happen for them, he came to a halt as there were red and pink roses covering the entryway of their home.
He turned to look towards the limo, but it wasn't there, and neither was Yoongi. Looking in front of him, he took a deep breath and walked more into the house, stopping as he saw a sign with an arrow pointing towards a hallway indicating him to follow the signs.
The further he walked, the more and more roses he was seeing and walking on, tears ran down his cheek as he passed an arrow that said, 'you are almost there.'
He kept going and going, but he felt as if he was going around in circles, he was becoming frustrated until one of the sign said, "don't give up Seokjin, you are almost there." which made him smile, it was as if whoever made the signs knew him.
Walking further, he came upon a big sign across the double doors that led to the back yard, "enter here." Taking a deep breath, he gripped the handles and pushed the door.
The sound of the piano playing took him by surprise, and the floor was still covered in roses, while the trees that created a perfect path to where he could see Yoongi standing was beautifully illuminated with white lights.
"W-what is this?" Jin lets out through his tears as he walked closer toward where Yoongi was. While walking towards Yoongi, a branch came out of nowhere and fell before him, and luckily he was a few feet back, he didn't get hit by it.
Pausing in shock, Jin looked over at Yoongi, who was not moving but kept looking directly at him. Jin wiped his eyes and tried gathering himself and his thoughts, taking another deep breath and stepping over the branch as he walked towards Yoongi.
He was almost towards Yoongi went a loud thundering sound appeared scaring him and making him leap forward, clutching to Yoongi. As he hugged Yoongi tightly, the sound disappeared, and Yoongi hugged him back. "Even with all of that, you still made it here."
Jin pulled away and stared at Yoongi, "what?"
"Even with all the obstacles and disappointment tonight you still made it here to me-"
"Wait you did this as a-"
Yoongi pressed his finger against Jin's lips, "being my forever partner will not be easy, there will be a lot of disappointments, a ton of obstacles, moments of worry and wonder. Sometimes you will feel lost, and sometimes you will want to give up, all of which took place tonight, but I want you to know no matter the obstacles or troubles of the future, I will always be here with you, and as long as your focus remains on me, we will be fine. We will get through anything. I don't want you to only accept me because of the good moments ahead, but I would be grateful if you could accept me knowing that sometimes we will have bad days together, and it will take both of our efforts to work through those days together. No matter what happens, it should always be us against our problems.
I love you Seokjin, before meeting you, I was convinced relationships and commitment was something I would never do. Having a family was only something I thought about when I got older when I had no choice but to settle down. Yet somehow I met you and that all changed, when you got pregnant it was the happiest day for me, I didn't think I would feel that way about being a parent. I never knew I could feel this way about loving someone the way I love you, I often not good with words, and I maybe not the most romantic person, but you are a treasure in my eyes, one I know I would be a fool to lose. You are like a missing piece to my heart; you complete me." Yoongi took the ring out of his pocket and kneeled on one knee and held Jin's left hand in his.
"So please, I am asking you today, will you marry me?"
Yoongi's words only made Jin cry more as he shook his head up and down, "y-yes, of course, yes!" Jin screams out, feeling overwhelmed with joy.
The proposal was nothing he could have ever imagined it to be.
Jimin, Hoseok, Jungkook, and Namjoon surprised Jin by jumping out and cheering, causing Yoongi's face to turn a little red as he forgot they had been watching him.
