PRESENT DAY;

"I'll come back for you.. you will never be free of me, Precious." T-Bag's voice echoed

I had tossed and turned in a cold sweat. Breathing heavily, and screaming, my brother knocking on my door

"Jenna.. Jenna, wake up. Jenna, it's okay. You were dreaming." Brandon said, shaking me gently

"Brandon.. It's happening again. I keep hearing that creep's voice in my head. And it won't stop." I said

"Jenn, look at me. He's locked up. He can't hurt you." Brandon said, wheeling backward

"Brandon, you're wheelchair bound because of him. Locking that maniac away isn't enough. He killed our mother, he took your legs and nearly took me cross-country to get married in his backwoods mother's church. Prison is not good enough for him. He could break out and try it again." I said, my voice shaking

"They have security guarding him around the clock. He won't get anywhere near you."

"That won't stop him from trying. I was so shaken up, I couldn't even pick him out of the line up." I said

"He really had you that scared.."

I nodded my head tearfully as I felt my phone vibrating against my upper thigh. Brandon and I had looked at the screen as I pull it out of my pocket

"Oh, my God.."

"Hello.."

"Miss Peters, this is Ed Pavelka, I'm the Warden of Fox River State Penitentiary I'm going to need you to identify the man responsible for your kidnapping and your mother's murder, seeing as we had forgotten to notify you of the matter." He said

"This is her brother, look, sir. This guy has left Jenna traumatized. She can barely sleep without screaming in the middle of the night. How is her facing him again gonna give her any peace?"

"I'm sorry it took so long. We didn't know until we checked her file. Your sister has to come in and identify the perp."

"She's not going unless I go with her, to make her feel better. This guy has gotten into her head, Mr. Pavelka, I'm all she has."

"Alright, I'll see you two in an hour."

"We'll be there, sir." Brandon said, hanging up

"I was afraid of this, Brandon. It's been haunting me for years."

TWO HOURS LATER

"Sorry I took so long with this, Miss Peters. I know this must be hard for you."

"Okay, fall in, convicts. Line up!"

"It's okay." Brandon said, reassuringly patting my back

"There she is. My Jenna.." The second man chuckled, licking his lip

"Number two.. That's him. He's the one." I said, cocking my head toward T-Bag

"Oh, so glad you were able to pick me out, Jenna. So, I hear that pretty little head of yours has been filled with dreams of me." T-Bag chuckled

"Okay, that's enough, Bagwell!"

"Okay, sir, she came, she identified him. Can I take her home now?"

"You need to fill out some paperwork, then you can go, if you could follow me, sir.."

"So, Brandon left you and I alone? So, tell me, how have you been these last few years?" T-Bag asked

"You cost my brother his legs, you son of a bitch--"

"Watch how you talk to me, little girl.. I see you're not wearing the ring I gave you, Precious." T-Bag said, looking at my hand
