SCARLETT HAS TRIED REBEKAH'S way of getting Elijah back and now she is being dragged into Klaus's way. Klaus has been compelling Cami, a woman he likes but won't admit it, to spy on Marcel and now Scarlett is being dragged in too.
Klaus and Scarlett enter Rousseau's and see Cami cleaning a table.
"Hello, Cami"Klaus says with charm and chipper.
Cami at first smiles but by the look on her face Scarlett can immediately tell that her compulsion is kicking in.
"How is it that when you come up to me now, and no one else is around, I suddenly remember that you just told me you're a vampire, and you're mind-controlling me? And then you leave, and then I go back to thinking you're just some hot guy with a cute accent and money to burn on your sprawling memoir?"Cami asks exasperated.
"Well, that's how compulsion works, love"Klaus tells her with his oh so famous smirk.
"Yeah, but what's happening? Is it hypnosis? Are my neurons being shut down somehow?"Cami asks.
Cami then looks to the blonde teenager stood next to him. "Who's this?"
"This is my daughter Scarlett"Klaus tells her, and Scarlett waves at the confused human awkwardly.
"What? Seriously? He's your dad?"Cami asks firing off three questions at once.
"Still waiting on the DNA test but apparently so"Scarlett responds sarcastically.
Klaus decides to interrupt them. "Always the curious scholar. Let's talk about Marcel"Klaus says walking over to the bar.
"You said you have a little information for me"Klaus continues and Scarlett sits on a stool by them.
"He's bringing someone to the music festival tonight. A girl he's mentoring. Apparently she's going through a hard time. Rebelling against authority, anger issues, that sort of thing. I guess with my psych degree, he figured I could set her straight, but I said no"Cami tells them.
"I'm going to go ahead and insist that you change your answer to "Yes.""Klaus says.
"Your gonna make her do this either way? Aren't you?"Scarlett asks with concern.
"Why even bother with politeness?"Cami continues on.
Klaus sighs with frustration. "Because I like you. I like the way your mind works. Under different circumstances, I think we might be friends. However, I don't have the luxury of passing up tonight's opportunity. You see, in addition to being Marcel's rather potent secret weapon, this girl, Davina, is holding my brother captive"Klaus explains.
He takes Cami by the hand causing her to look at him. "the girl needs your help. Call Marcel. Tell him you'd be happy to oblige and tell him you'll be bringing a friend someone in the same boat as her"Klaus compels Cami.
Scarlett stands up, pushing the bar stool back under.
"Reason number 16 why I hate vampires:compulsion"Scarlett says before walking away.
NIGHT TIME ARRIVES QUICKLY and Scarlett is with Cami in Rousseau's when Marcel and Davina approach the pair.
"Cami"Marcel says.
He turns to look at the blonde teenager. "And this must be your friend".
Scarlett stand up from her stool. "Scarlett, Scarlett Sawyer"Scarlett says introducing herself and extending her hand.
"Marcel Gerard"Marcel replies shaking her hand.
He looks to Davina. "And this is Davina"Marcel introduces.
