Matthew is bold. Chloe is the regular font. Everyone else is italics
It's Friday afternoon and tomorrow is graduation day. I turned in my paper where I talked about my college life and about Matthew. I finished Melissa and Emma's painting. I mean she did watch me work on the drawing but she didn't see me paint it. I think I did wonderful on both of their paintings. I'm actually so stoked for them to see what I did especially Melissa since she doesn't know what the painting looks like. Hell, she doesn't even know I'm doing this. Anyway, Matthew hasn't called or texted me. He said we were going to talk about the kiss that day but it's been days later and he still hasn't talked to me.
I can't help but feel some type of emotion. Like I'm mad at him but I expected it. I mean he does have a girlfriend. But he did kiss me back. So what did it mean? Ugh. I can't think about that right now. I need to focus on graduating. Since Melissa has been working a lot lately. Emma has been willing to visit me every day. She would even stay the night like today. I'm so thankful for her. Without Emma, I'd be moping around while Melissa is out and Matthew not talking to me.
Speaking of Emma she is currently at my house. Right now we were in a mood to watch movies so we popped some popcorn and we started watching movies. "She knows she's about to catch feelings for him," I say as I stuff some popcorn in my mouth.
"How do you know that?"
"Did you not see the way she looked at him? While he was playing with his nephew she's talking to his parents and she started smiling while looking at him. She so has feelings for him. It's like in her head she's saying he's not the asshole I thought he was."
"You got a point." I hear a loud knock on the door.
"I'll get it." I pause the movie and I give her the popcorn bowl. I get up and I walk to the door and I open it.
"Chloe Bear." I gasp.
"Oh my god. You're here." I jump into his arms and I give him a bone-crushing hug. He spins me around. I laugh as he does that. He then puts me down and I look behind him. Camryn is standing there grinning. I push Cole out of the way and I give Camryn a bone-crushing hug. "Oh my god. Look at you." I pull away from her.
"Hey, you didn't have to push me out the way." He frowns and I roll my eyes. I steady her face and her body.
"God you look prettier than me I'm jealous." She laughs.
"No way. You look prettier." I shake my head.
"No way."
"So you're just going to ignore me like that?"
"You'll be fine." He pouts and I roll my eyes and Camryn laughs. Cole walks over to us. "God look at you too. It's been soo long. Cole, you look so damn grown and so do you Camryn." I ruffle both of there hair making sure I mess it up. They both whine. I laugh.
"More like look at you," Cole says as Camryn fixes her hair.
"What about me?"
"You look so mature. You're growing up too." I laugh. I see Cole's eyes shift to Emma who is still sitting on the couch looking hella awkward. "Who is this?"
"Emma this is my older brother Cole and my little sister Camryn." I rest my head on Cole's shoulder while I put my arm around Camryn. "Cole and Camryn meet Emma Westly." Emma smiles and waves.
"Hey, guys nice to meet you," Cole whispers in my ear.
"She's gorgeous."
"I know right. But don't even think about it, mister." He rolls his eyes. "Emma is Matthew's older sister. You know Matthew the one I was telling you guys about." They both nod.
