Chapter 3

Eddie got home and after talking his afternoon pill he went to call Stan. He didn't pick up so eddie went to do his homework. Half an hour later he went back to the phone and called Stan again and his mom picked up.
"Hello?" His mom asked.
"Hi this is Eddie Kasbrack is Stan home?" He asked.
"No I will tell him to call you back when he dose though" she said sweetly.
"Thank you." He said before hanging up. Eddie went over to his bed and screamed into his pillow.
"Eddie bear why are screaming? Did you take you afternoon pills?" Sonia Kasbrack asked walking into her sons room.
"Oh sorry mom just annoyed, my friend isn't picking up the phone. And I tool my pills as soon as I got in the door."
"Who were you trying call?" His mom asked sitting down on the edge of his bed.
"Stan, he was supposed to check on Richie after school and I want to make sure Rich is ok."
"Richie I've always hated that boy such a bad influence."
"He's not bad mom, he's funny, smart, nice-"
"Do you like this boy Eddie? And I mean like like honey."

"M-Mabey," Eddie said turning bright red.
"Eddie what have I told you about gays." Sonia said angrily.
"Well I'm gay mom!" Eddie yelled.
Sonia slapped Eddie in the face knocking him to the ground. "No son of mine is gay!" Sonia yelled at the boy.
"Well then I'm not your son anymore! Good bye bitch!" Eddie yelled grabbing his backpack and storming out of the house.

Stan got back to his house and his mom greeted him at the door.
"Hi Stan, Eddie called." She said giving him a hug.
"Okay," Stan said, "I'm going to go call him back."
"Okay honey, dinner is at 6:30."
Stan walked over to the phone and dialed Eddies number.
