We're in HQ with Heathcliff in front of us. Kirito heard I was his daughter, but never asked questions.

"Kirito, I'd like to get straight to the point if you'd forgive me. After all you want my only daughter, Alcea... you must take her with your blades though. If you win you can have her, but if you lose you must join the Knights of the Blood Oath" he stated.

"Very well. With our blades we will settle it" he said as I looked at Kirito feeling helpless.

"You shouldn't have agreed to this" I said softly as I could feel him staring at my back and I glared at the wall.

"Did you not want me to fight for you" he asked softly almost inaudible.

"He's going to defeat you" I yelled as he grabbed my wrists "you don't know him like I do!"

"Have a little more faith in me" he whispered as he stared at me with his beautiful black orbs.

Wait... when did I start to think they were beautiful?

"Kirito... he'll cheat" I said broken heartedly "you have no chance. Now it's going to be my fault that you joined something you never wanted to..."

"I know there's something you're not telling me, but I'll definitely try my best for you" he said determinedly as I stared at him surprised "I have to go now..."

I sat on the chair of the small table in his small room. Kirito lost. He was still surprised when Heathcliff pulled a cheat on him. I could hear Kirito sigh as he laid down on the bed.

"It was over a year ago... I joined a guild once. The guild was tiny with only six people. They were called the Moonlit Black Cats" he continued his eyes going dark "they were close to each other just like you and your group were. Back then that was something I craved, to be a part of something...but then one day..."

He explained everything.

"Everyone... Sachi... I killed them" he explained as I got up and sat on the bed next to him cupping his cheeks and making him face me.

No... it's not his fault... nor is it mine. The both of us didn't kill our friends. I understand that now.

"I won't die... I promise you that because I'm the one who will protect you" I said softly as I brought him closer for a hug as I could feel his hot tears dampening my top "you didn't kill them, Kirito. Trust me. You didn't kill them."

"Training" Kirito questioned as another guild member talked to him.

"You'll form a party with me and one other, and we'll clear the dungeon on here on the 55th floor" he spoke.

"Wait, Godfree. Kirito and I are-" I said but was cut off.

"Sorry Lady Alcea, even as the co-commander you cannot ignore the rules. And if he'll be joining us, then as the forward commander, I must evaluate his skills" Godfree sighed "we'll meet at the western gates in 30 minutes" Godfrey exclaimed as Kirito sighed.

"Just after I got you settled down" I muttered, but then felt a hand on my head.

No... don't touch me like that. Like him...

"I'll be back soon" Kirito reassured "wait here."

Kirito left to meet up with Godfrey and the other player as I stayed behind. I was about to go find something to do until I saw the Vice Commander.
