I stared at Akaashi as he ran out the door. Shrugging, I finished my bowl of cereal and figured we'd talk later. As I walked into the living room a couple knocks rapped at the door before Kuroo walked in.

"Sup bro! How's it going?" I was pumped to see Kuroo, but his face showed only concern as he entered the apartment. My face fell as I waited for him to respond,

"Hey, did you talk to Akaashi this morning?" His voice was different than usual, which had me on my toes a bit quicker than usual.

"Well yeah. But he said he was running late for class, so he dipped out before we could continue." My eyebrows furrowed together as Kuroo exhaled and face palmed.

"Bokuto. It's Saturday. There's no class today." I abruptly pulled my phone out of my pocket and checked the date, blinking twice to verify I wasn't hearing or seeing things.

"What exactly did you guys talk about, Boku?" His voice grew a bit deeper, almost protective and fatherly like, and yet still gentle probably because he didn't want to offend me.

"Well I had a wicked dream that I kissed Akaashi last night. I called him pretty. And I was embarrassed to tell him, so I just, played it safe." I shrugged, figuring it wasn't too much of a big deal if I was to keep the dream a secret.

"That wasn't a dream. You were wasted yesterday during our drinking contest. Akaashi got worried and went over to check on you. You called him pretty and kissed him in front of everyone." Fear washed over my eyes as I stared at Kuroo longer than expected. My mouth gaped open as I tried to process what he told me,

"Oh god... I have to apologize to him. I probably just ruined our friendship. I told him today I didn't feel that way about him and what if he hates me? Oh, Kuroo-San, what do I do?!" I was pacing back and forth, hands wretched in my hair and tugging at my spikes. At this point, I didn't care that my hair was all over the place.

"Look, he likes you, Bokuto. You stole his first kiss, drunken, May I say, so it's probably best to apologize. But if you feel some type of way for him, you should tell him. I think the only thing that drove him away, was you saying you didn't think that way about him." Kuroo shrugged, keeping his voice stern and calm throughout this disaster. Wow, I wish I had his confidence... But... Now it's my time to show I can do that.

"I have to find him. I have to apologize." As I stated that, lightning struck outside and rain started pouring down, "Oh... no no no..."

"Bokuto— I'm pretty sure he's at Kenma's, he'll be fine and he'll come back when he's rea—"

I cut him off, quicker than he expected, "You said he's probably at Kenma's? Then I'm going right now." I threw on my shoes and grabbed my jacket. Kuroo clamped down on my shoulder,

"Look, I'll drive. Just slow down. The train will take too long and you're worrying too much." His words didn't slow me down though, they only motivated me more. I jumped up and quickly put on the jacket before rushing out the door. I continuously jiggled the handle of the car until he unlocked it and I was able to slip into the passenger side. Kuroo's face never showed any less concern than it did when he walked in the front door.

After almost forty minutes of us driving through the pouring rain, we arrived at Kenma's. I jumped out and ran up to the door, knocking repeatedly until someone answered.
