Chapter 15

(Trixie's POV)

So today is the day of the sentencing. I had to take an honesty pill earlier, I had no idea what sentences the ninja were looking at, so I asked Nova. When she told me I was shocked. NOBODY survives cinemasia, and life in a iriwanian prison is horrible. I should know I was in one once. To be completely honest, I was worried for them. I mean sure they hurt me and tried to keep me prisoner, but I never thought that what they did was treason in iriwan. Let alone all of astor. I was the only person to ever come back from cinemasia alive... or at all since Era attacked for that matter. Being abandoned in a place that you have no hope of living is a punishment I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. especially when you will either be eaten alive or turned into a wendego. As I sat on my bed thinking about all this I decided that if the ninja apologised, I would forgive them.

"Trixie?" I heard a voice and a knock on my door. Alternate kai opened the door to my room.

"Kai, what are you doing here?" I asked "Shouldn't you be training?" He shook his head before showing me a bandage underneath his right sleeve.

"What happned?" I asked him.

"Training accident." He replied. "Honestly, Zane didn't even assess it. They just put a bandage on it and told me to rest it. It happened about an hour ago and it still feels like it just happened." He told me.

"Let me see it." I suggested, He walked over to me and sat down on the bed. I carefully removed the bandage. It did not look good.

"Kai, I think it's dislocated, but i'll need to take you to the palace doctor to be sure" I told him. His arm was definitely out of place. He sighed as he got up. I took him to the palace doctor who did an X-ray on his arm.

"Yup, that's a definite dislocation right there. You must have been doing some harsh training." The doctor told him.

"So now what?" He asked.

"We pop it back into place." He replied.

"What!?"

"We pop it back into place, and I should warn you. it hurts more to pop it back into place than to actually dislocate something." The doctor warned. He went to get an oxygen pump.

"If you want me to, I can use my powers to make you think your not in pain." I offered, seeing Alternate Kai's fearful expression. He nodded and the doctor came back into the room. I started to create the illusion that Kai didn't feel any pain.

"Okay Kai, you ready?" The doctor asked, Alternate kai nodded.

"Three, two, ONE" On One, we heard a sickening crunch of bone. And then it was done. I stopped the illusion.

"Thanks doc." I said to him.

"No probolem, just rest that arm Kai." The doctor replied, putting his arm in a sling

"No training for about a week, then ease back into it." He said before leaving. we left the infirmary.

"feel better?" I asked him.

"Yeah, thanks Trixie." He smiled at me.

"Now, let's talk about you. The sentencing's later." He said to me. I sighed. I wanted to worry about that when I got to it."

"How are you holding up?" He asked me.

"Well, if they all apologise i'll forgive them." I said.

"And if they don't?"

"Then I won't forgive them." I said to him.

"Now head to your room and get some rest." I told him. He sighed but headed in the direction of his room. Knowing that he couldn't win an argument against me.
