Ninjago: The master of illusion

Chapter 1

"Guys" Cole said to the other ninja in the training yard of the monastery. They had just teamed up against him and now he was on the floor. He was always the one that the ninja ganged up on.

"what?" Lloyd looked at him like he was completely innocent.

"why do you always gang up on me?" Cole asked, sounding hurt

"Because your the easiest to attack when we are in a team." Kai said, helping the earth ninja off the floor.

"well it's five against one, how can you not beat me when you gang up." Cole protested

"fair enough, how about next time we gang up on Lloyd?" Jay said to the group.

"why me?"

"Because your the most powerful out of all of us, and Cole probably won't stop complaining until we team up on someone else." Kai said to him.

"Hey!" Cole protested

Zane could feel the tension building so decided to change the subject.

"It is nice to be able to live in the monastery again, I am glad we finally rebuilt." He talked about the monastery rather than the training situation to simmer down the tensions. Lately, the training yard was somewhere the ninja started to joke around with each other, but it started to agitate some of them after a while. Pixal came in to the training yard and looked around. she saw everyone standing around and talking in a group.

"I thought you should be training right now" Pixal said

"I believe we're done for the day." Zane told her. She nodded and smiled at her boyfriend... or nindroidfriend. 

"well, whether your training or not, Master Wu wants to see all of you inside. as soon as you can." Pixal walked back inside. presumably to wait for the other ninja with master Wu.

Suddenly, a red fiery Tornado zipped over to cole and threw him against the wall. The other ninja laughed while cole groaned in pain

"I should have seen that coming" He got up and glared at the Tornado. Which was now Kai. They all walked inside to the living room, where Wu, Pixal and Misako were waiting for them

"mom?" Lloyd looked at Misako. "where have you been?" His mother was away for a while, hell she missed the never realm and prime empire incidents. she disappeared without a trace and now she was back?

"I decided to find an... old acquaintance you could say. we were like family years ago. But when I was reunited with you, we lost contact. It was only recently that I saw her again. and..."

"This is Gale Gossip from NGTV news, and I'm here to tell you that a prisoner in custody has escaped. I am getting confirmation that Her name is Trixie. However, her last name is unknown. She has pink and dark blue hair, a pink and dark blue shirt, black leggings and black sneakers as well as brown eyes. if you see her please do not approach. contact local authorities immediately." The tv explained

"Trixie..." Misako whispered to herself. "why didn't you just become an author."

"I'm receiving confirmation that she is in custody on suspicion of attempting to steal a very valuable relic from the museum, but i'm not being told which one." Gale continued. suddenly, a girl matching the description of Trixie ran past.

"Ninja, we're leaving." Lloyd said to the others. They put their hoods up and looked at Wu who nodded.

"be careful ninja, I fear that there is something hiding under her surface."

"we will be." Lloyd said to him. Pixal left, presumably to go and get her samurai mech.

the ninja took off on their vehicles to the city. Once they arrived, they surveyed the city before coming across someone matching the escapee's description. 

"ninja, it looks like she's headed for the museum again. Kai, cole meet her at the entrance, jay, zane follow her with an areal view. me and Nya will try to et her on the ground." Lloyd said through the comms speaker. Nya jumped off her motorcycle and since it was programmed to go back to the monastery without a rider, that's what it did. Lloyd jumped out of his car and the same thing happened. They were directly behind Trixie. She looked behind her and saw Lloyd and Nya running after her. This only made her run faster.

Lloyd shot his power at her she dodged it. She then turned around and just stood there.

"okay, put your hand up and walk over here slowly." Lloyd negotiated with Trixie. Trixie obliged and started walking toward him. She smirked as Nya went flying and hit the wall, knocking her unconscious. 

"Nya!" Lloyd yelled before he felt someone punch him in the stomach. He looked up but Trixie was at least three feet away from him. But she still smirked.

"what are you doing?" He grunted, being beaten up by this invisible force. Trixie just stood there with her hands up. Lloyd felt something grab his feet, he felt himself being picked up off the floor and propelled into the air. He hit the same wall as Nya and was knocked out. Jay and Zane saw what happened and started blasting Trixie, who survived every blast much to their surprise.

"what?" Jay exclaimed. 

"this is impossible." Zane agreed. Then comms beeped

"guys we have a visual." It was Kai. Trixie was stood right outside the museum

"what do you mean? she's right here in the alleyway." Jay told them.

"No she's not. she's right outside the museum."

"i'll check" Zane flew away, leaving jay to watch Trixie.

"it's true, she's outside the museum." Zane said.

"Then why is she still in the alleyway?" Jay said to him.

"what happened?" Lloyd any Nya had started to wake up.

"Lloyd, throw your sword at Trixie." Jay said to him.

"what?"

"just do it!"

He did so, and to his surprise the sword bounced right off her.

Meanwhile, Cole and Kai were preparing to fight Trixie, The Trixie which was by the Museum. When another Trixie came out of the museum Holding a necklace of some kind.

"What?" Kai turned to the Trixie in the doorway, then to the one outside the museum. Cole and Zane were just as confused.  Cole started to attack the one in the Doorway.

"I don't know what that necklace your stealing is, but your gonna return it." He said to her.

"return it? My real dad made this for me. The reason it was there is because it was found in a cave by archaeologists before I could find it." Trixie told him

"so it's rightfully mine. it's not stealing if it's something that belongs to you." She defended herself.

Kai was still dumbfounded that there was a Trixie in the Alleyway, outside the museum, and that cole was fighting one. Cole eventually pinned Trixie to the ground and Yanked the necklace out from her hand. Trixie just smirked.

"Did you really think I would give you the chance to get me again?" All three Trixie's chorused.

Lloyd, Nya and Jay knew what was happening at the museum. They were as confused as the others.

"My powers are useful for distractions... and Chaos!" All three of them laughed. The Trixie in the alleyway disappeared in a puff of turquoise smoke along with Lloyd's sword which appeared at the back of the alleyway without the puff of smoke. He swiftly ran over and collected it

"Guys, The Trixie in the alley just disappeared." Nya spoke through the comms.

"ok, so that wasn't the real one." Kai said.  Then, the Trixie outside the museum disappeared.

"so the one cole pinned down is the real one!" Kai rushed over to help him but she disappeared too. along with the necklace.

"what?" Cole exclaimed. "she was just here!" A guard came out of the museum screaming.

"The necklace of Illusion is missing!" The guard screamed.

By now Nya, Lloyd and jay had joined Zane, Kai and Cole at the museum.

"That's her power" Nya worked out.
