Ninjago: The master of illusion

Chapter 14

(Flashback)

(Trixie's POV)

I knew that once I got rid of my illusion I would only have a limited time before they tried to take me back. I had to make a quick escape. I couldn't outrun the ninja, so I did the next best thing. I took out my realm crystal shard and opened a portal. To where I had no idea, but if it was a place that was too dangerous I could always leave as sudden as I arrived. I jumped through the portal, ready to fight if need be.

I landed on the ground with a thud and heard the ninja. I froze, had I really just landed right where I escaped? I was too afraid to open my eyes.

"Trixie?" I heard Lloyd say.

"What are you doing back so soon?" I opened my eyes to find myself in an indoor training room.  In the training room in iriwan. I breathed a sigh of relief. I wasn't back at the Monastery.

"Is everything ok?" Alternate Kai asked me as I got up. 

"I'm fine." I replied.

"We can tell that's not true Trix." Alternate Nya said to me. I looked at her.

"What's going on in here?" Nova asked the Alternate's as she and  and Goldie came into the room to find the Alternate Ninja not training. Then she noticed me and could automatically tell something was wrong.

"Trixie, why are you back so soon? is something wrong?" She asked. I sighed, knowing that they wouldn't leave me alone until I told them everything. So that's what I did. I told them everything about Fury attacking and Nya saying what she did and everyone agreeing that I don't leave my room and how I escaped. Everybody's understanding expressions Turned to faces of Anger.

"They will pay." Nova said as Goldie nodded in agreement.

"Harming the saviour in any way, shape or form is treason." Goldie added.

"I'm ashamed I look like my Alternate." Alternate Zane stated.

"I'm changing my hair colour. We have Dye in the palace right?" Alternate Nya asked. Nova nodded

"In All of your ensuite bathrooms, it's in one of the cupboards. Zane, you have paints." She explained. The alternate Ninja left to go and Dye their hair. Goldie looked  at me.

"Don't worry Lady Trixie, They will be punished for what they  have done." Goldie told me. She started to walk out of the room.

"Wait!" I said, she turned around

"How are you going to get to Ninjago?" I asked her. Her face then turned blank. I held out my shard of the realm crystal.

"Here." I said to her. She thanked me and left the room. presumably to get guards to get the Ninja. Now it was just me and Nova.

"Come on, i'll take you to your room. Again." She walked me to my room.

"you can watch them arrive from the Balcony." She said to me once we arrived.

"Your not staying?"

"As Princess, I need to be there to show the criminals that their actions were not ok. The alternate Ninja will also be down there." She told me. I nodded in understanding as she got up to leave.

"Nova?"

"Yeah?"

"Thank you."

"No probolem." She replied as she walked away. A few minutes later I saw her appear on the courtyard as well as The alternate Ninja with dyed hair. All except Kai's Alternate. I guess that was because his Alternate wasn't being arrested. The hair dye was to prevent an issue of mistaken identity as well as being ashamed. I went onto my balcony. Seconds later a portal opened and Goldie came through, followed by the original ninja plus Wu and Pixal all cuffed and guared by two guards to each of them. original Lloyd noticed me and yelled something at me I couldn't quite hear. I just looked at him. They were never willing to even listen to my side of the story. I watched as the guards lead them in the direction of the dungeon.

(Cole's POV)

I woke up at dawn to a Guard yelling

"Get Up delinquents, your lawyer will be here soon!" I sighed, there was no going back to sleep now. I heard my door open and a guard stood in the doorway, throwing some bread in my cell. It didn't even have any butter. I ate my bread, as we all did.

"Sir, i'm a nindroid, I don't need to eat. Instead, please give it to someone else." Zane said, attempting to give the bread back to the guard.

"Just eat it robo boy." The guard commanded. Zane did as he was told. I got as ready as I could in my tiny cell. I went to my little barred window and looked around. On my side was Nya, jay and Wu. Zane, Pixal and Lloyd were the only people I could actually see, so I used the process of elimination. I heard Footsteps coming towards us and my cell door unlocked. A guard lead me out and without saying a word, brought me to a large meeting room. it had one large table and at 7 places there were tall glasses of water. The other's soon followed inside and we took a seat at the table. We waited until someone came into the room. He was dressed in a suit and tie. he was a ginger haired man and he put a briefcase on the table.

"Before the trial, you need to take these." He opened the briefcase and gave us all some kind of pill. It was small and looked like a black and white swirled Tylenol/ paracetamol, minus the logo. I looked at it.

"What is it?" Lloyd asked.

"A pill that makes you tell the truth. That way i'll know the whole story so that I can help you." The Lawyer asked. I looked around at everyone. We were just as confused as each other.

"Either take it willingly or the guards will need to force you. Everyone testifying in the trial has to take one so don't worry, this isn't just for you." The Lawyer told us. That made me feel a bit better. Everyone hesitantly took the pill. I followed their example. I didn't feel any different.

"Now, tell me the whole story." The lawyer said. We explained everything to him and he listned intently.

"I see, Nya, you were in the wrong for-" Nya cut him off.

"I know what I did. Now tell me what sentences are we looking at in the worst case scenario?" She asked him.

"Well, worst case scenario is being escorted to Cinemasia and left there to fend for yourself for a month. Nobody comes back from that fate." He plainly said to us.

"Best case?" Jay asked hopefully.

"Best case scenario you'd get life imprisonment, unless The offended AKA Lady Trixie forgives you, In which case you would face no prosecution." The Lawyer explained.

"Anyway, I need you to make your Plea, guilty or not guilty?" he asked us.

"Guilty." Wu said to him.

"You are Ninja, not liars." He told us.

"Very well. In that case the trial will not take place, you will go straight to sentencing. However, Trixie will be asked if she forgives you. If she does, no sentencing will take place. You will however, be able to tell your side of the story as Trixie will." The Lawyer said. He noticed everyone's looks.

"I'll leave you to comprehend this whole thing. I'll see you at the sentencing." The lawyer got up and left. mere seconds later guards swarmed into the room and hauled us back to our cells. This was going to absolutely blow.
