I'm no demon

Demons

-''OH MY F***ING GOD!'' Andie screamed shoocked.

-''What is it?! Are you okay?'' Thomas asked Andie scared.

-''THAT GUY WILLIAM IS DEAD! OH MY GOD'' Andie continued screaming.

-''What?!'' Elvira asked shocked, her eyes wide.

-''What's going o- OH MY GOD!'' Yelled sarah who just walked into the room.

-''That guy William is dead! That's what's happening!'' Said scared little Lily.

Soon almost everyone was in the room. Nobody knew what happened to him but there seemed to be a huge stab wound in the middle of his chest with burn marks all over his dead body.

-''Wait a minute, Where's Oliver?'' Juliet asked

-''Oh my god, What if he's dead too?!''  Lily theorized.

Oliver showed up at the door and everyone turned to look at him. Then he realized what was happening and ran straight to the corpse of his supposed childhood friend and started sobbing. Joana, A skinny woman, Maybe 40, said:''Hey guys, We should let him be... At least for a while, That William guy was his childhood best friend anyway...''

-''Yeah. We should probably continue. Have you guys found anything by now?'' Benjamin asked.

-''Yeah. Some weird chest with some puzzle thing on it. It had a bag of gold in it.'' Lily answered.

-''We found one too!'' Joana exclaimed.

The groups split up again, now in groups of 2. Andie and Elvira left to explore the place. They stumbled upon a room with tables and seemingly edible fried chicken on the plates. 

-''What is this place?'' Andie asked

-''Probably some ancient dining room, Wait, Is that... Fried chicken?'' Elvira said

-''Yeah. But... How is it not rotten? I'm sure nobody here has grilled that.'' Andie pointed as she closely inspected the chicken on one of the plates. 

-''Wait... I don't believe in spirits and stuff but maybe... Just maybe there's some spirit trying to take care of us... I mean, I don't know but like, Maybe the same spirit lit the torches?'' Elvira theorized.

Andie's eyes lit up.

-"Yeah! Maybe! Should i... Maaaybe taste the chicken?'' Andie asked. ''Like, Just give a try and see if it's actually edible.'' 

-''No, I'll try. You have a wider knowledge of spirits and stuff so if there is one, you can probably talk to them. If i die, tell them i was strangled by some demon or something.'' Elvira said.

-''Uh, Okay then.'' Andie said as she watched Elvira rip off a saucy chicken leg trying to get as little sauce on her hands as she could. 

-''This is probably the best chicken i've had in my whole life! It's super good!'' Elvira mumbled her mouth full of the delicious chicken.

Suddenly Andie heard footsteps. She immediately got a headache and her gut told her to hide or run. Like an evil spirit was after them.

-''AGH! My head! Hey Elvira, can we go now? Please?'' Andie whispered. ''I can sense an evil spirit...''

-''What? Oh god, Footsteps? We have to go now!'' Elvira answered.

The girls started walking to the entarance of the room but were faced with a 10 foot tall, red skinned horrid looking creature with long sharp horns and teeth. Without even properly realizing what was going on the girls slipped by as the creature noticed good prey and charged at the girls it's mouth wide open revealing thousands upon thousands of needle like teeth and a long tongue. Andie managed with all of her strenght to throw a nearby table at the creature, distracting it just enough that the girls managed to slip in two big barrells in the back of the rooms. Andie held the lid of the barrel closed with all of her strenght as she listened to the creature's footsteps, slowly coming closer. She could feel the creature trying to break the barrell open. Suddenly she could feel the creature lifting up the barrel and throwing it against the wall trying to make it break. The barrell didn't even get scratched. That thing was clearly built to last. Suddenly the growls of the creature faded into something of a middle aged man's screams. Then it clicked in Andie's head. That creature is not any creature. That creature can take a human's form. Possibly the creature is an evil spirit inhabiting in one of the people, one of their "Friends". She listened as the thing walked away. The ringing in Andie's head finally faded away like the headache.  She peeked outside and looked around. Nothing was there anymore. She could see a crack in the wall, supposedly in the spot the creature had thrown the barrell andie was in. She crawled out and as she did, the barrell she was in, fell apart instantly, giving her the chills. She walked over to the barrell Elvira was in and tapped on it slightly, then whispered; ''Hey elvira, you can come out now... It's over, don't worry.''

Elvira crawled out shaking and clearly scared. She hugged Andie tight and started sobbing. It's really traumatizing to have something you don't believe in suddenly in front of you and trying to Eat you alive. The girls continued their journey through the halls of the dungeon. They stopped at the library and tried to find something to read and relax. Andie found some heavy chairs and tables and barricaded the door using them. Andie looked at her watch. It was 11pm. They were tired and hungry. Andie searched through her bag and pulled out a plastic box. She pulled the lid open and took out 3 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

-''Hey El? Are you hungry?'' She asked her friend who was trying to read some ancient bible.

-''Oh, yeah, a little, i can take one, Thanks.'' She answered as Andie handed her one of the sandwiches.

They devoured the sandwiches in seconds. Andie was about to fall asleep but suddenly she heard a scream outside of the door...
