I WISH I COULD'VE TAKEN AWAY

I wish I could've taken away
your sorrows from your eyes
and pain from your smile
But it's too late now
'Cause you are not here

I hope wherever you are
Or whoever you are with,
Is changing your sorrows
into happiness
And healing your pain

I hope you are looking at me
'Cause you know how much
I love you
How much you mean to me
And just know that
I will love you the same
As I loved you earlier 

So this poem was written for my first book. You may think that this poem is from lovers perspective.... But no!! It's from a younger sister's perspective whose missing her older sister, who has committed suicide and it's making her guilty that she couldn't save her.
